Agreed, Lee is a safe bet for a further year but two years is going to see his second as a squad player with few matches due to injuries and so on , many of which he already carries.

TBH I'm undecided as to whether I would give Radders another deal, yes he has had a good season but wonder how much this season will have taken out of him and how much we would get out of him next season.

If some of the rumours are true and LMS is signing for us (or someone similar) then if I had to resign one out of Radders & Dowes I would sign Dowes everytime purely on the fact that Dowes has a far better injury record, can play more minutes and never lets the team down, he has also like Radford had a good season but just think Dowes has more left in him.

I know what your saying about another deal however he has had a super season for us and has been one of our constants in an up and down season however i agree that his injury status is worrying and lets face it Lee is carrrying a few injuries week in week out but is such a tough cookie he plays on through them which if given that HKR are offering him top dollar for two seasons he would be mad not to snap their hand off .

Ewan on the other hand is younger with more shelf life left??? hard one really

been told today from inside fc ,radders been offered a lot less than he was on this year and rovers are offering 2 year deal on more than he was on this year at hull ,i hv been told the differance and it would make anyone jump ship ,so unless fc up the ante its bye bye radders thanks and, good luck ,youve been a good servant ,with the money available increase the offer to LMS simple

What you say is just about correct...No-one can knock Radders he has been a great servant to FC, and if the Dobbins are prepared to pay his pension good luck to him.

Hull FC are not about to start discussing via email if an overseas player might be thinking about staying or leaving. Whch we all know has to happen too make any further overseas signings.

So, you can take that response to be "We can't sign any players from overseas under current conditions" - the conditions could change.

ive asked my contact a few times about berro and unless someone in the Nrl comes in for him he will be staying for the 4th year the option is with him not the club based on appearences ,i think if where all honest including the club ,the way young danny has come on this year we would say good bye and bring in other players in areas but you carnt forsee sertain things i suppose

Don't think either would be particularly good signings. Gilmour is a good player but with our abundance of second rowers it'd seem rather pointless unless he's brought in to play centre?? Aspinwall would be a poor signing and I would much rather sign any of the wingers mentioned in this thread (Meli, Sharp etc...) over him.

If this is true then I would say thank you and good luck to Radders and let him get some extra cash before his playing days finish. I wouldn't like to think that the club would offer Radders more on a new deal no disrespect to him. If Rovers or anyother club want to offer him more and for longer terms then he would be daft not to take it.

For me the more I think about it the more Dowes is the one I would keep out of the two for the reasons mentioned earlier.
