A player of his undoubted talent and a proven specialist would be a great signing for FC, I personally dont see Jordan as a full back I think he has much more to offer us to be honest . if I had input in coaching I would turn him into a specialist winger to be honest because there is a lot of Colin Best in Jordan and he could well be a poacher supreme, yes he will come infield looking for work and expose his wing etc etc, but he is cool under a high kick, is lightning fast, has great feet and in my opinion would be a great winger.
Think back to the best recent wingplays we have had, Best, Raynor and Tingha and you will see a lot of similarities to Jordan..
As for FB I have always thought that RW was made for that job especially with his height and fearless temperment and most of all his ability to support down the middle. .

But back to Mathers he would be a superb asset and a specialist FB we have missed since SB, however although it would be nice can we afford him !!

Tansey is a very good FB IMO, if we were to get Mathers it would mean playing a ball handling 13, tactics we don't use.

I don't like Mathers but I have to admit he has regained his form at Wire and I would not be disappointed should he sign for us, I can't see it though.

there are more important positions to cover than fullback.we are well covered at 1,but not so at wing,centre,6,7and prop(presuming cusack goes,which he will,and also dowes and radford).
