In Hall's case he doesn't have the mental strength to make it at the top in my view. Agar might have done better but Hall has not grasped his chances and continues to make the same errors with and without the ball week in and week out. He's another who has played loads of games and never improves. It's Hull FC that needs him to move on as soon as possible because his performance today, and many, many this year particularly defensively, but also his lack of responsibility to the team in the way he fails to respect possession, are not up to the required standard. I don't accept this argument that he has been hard done to in some way - if he had it we would already know.

Yeaman has his faults, and isn't the world's greatest, (although dare I say it he appears to be addressing one of the main ones this season even with Agar in charge) but he is a different class to Hall.

I wouldn't say he'd been hard done to as such. He's been unfortunate to have been moved around to cover injuries, but he's hardly unique in the squad in that regard. And I think a better coach would have done better with him, but again, others have had the same coach to cope with.

He's handling let him down today . But that said , The whole side's handling was poor and it's been like it for 4/5 games now. Our completion rate must be below 60% from those games. You just can't cough up that much possession and expect to win.

Not a superleague player and never will be IMO, ok he has the speed to finish if gets away but no good scoring tries if your going to let twice as many in. A decent championship player but defo not at this level gets exposed every week

I can honestly say I don't think there where any positives from Halls performance yesterday. I have tried to give him the benefit of the doubt in the past, but he was god damn awful in every aspect of his game yesterday.
He didn't look like a player who was going at the end of the season, he looked like a player who had already gone.

So, not his defence then? Like on Quins 1st try were he shot out the line and left Whiting high and dry! Or their 2nd try when due to his lack of upper body strength he couldn't wrap the player up ball an all to stop him from off loading.

There were plenty of mistakes made in defence. Hall made more than anyone else, and a fair few in attack as well.

I'll happily defend Hall when he's unfairly criticised, but the simple fact is that he had a mare yesterday.

Get rid not good enough and take Washy with him.

In fairness I thought Washbrook had a fairly decent game, he broke the line a few times and was looking to offload. He showed what we all already know, that LF is his best position.

Now that's a rash statement to make about someone who (yet again) had the burden of leading the team around the park. Horne was clearly injured, Turner was [iagain[/i ineffective, and the cry is for the club to dump Washbrook? FFS.

Craig Hall is shot as a Hull Fc player, whether or not it's down to coaching, confidence, being moved around position wise. He's too much of a liability, teams are targetting him in attack, his own attacking skills have deserted him. Let him go fror everyone's sanity.

I not buying " we need players to get us round the park " Players are professionals and should know what he as to do "yes you can have an off day but the players have to put they hands up for the bad display ..Its a team game " not one man game" ..I will not travel all that way again ..out of the 4 games on Saturday Wakefield v Leeds was the only game to get excited about ..and it was Effing cold sat for 7 hours ..People who watched it on T V did the right thing If its up there next year ..for me its watch it on TV

Watched Turner play SO at Sheffield pre season and said then he wasn't a half back. Centre/loose forward/SR but definitely not a half back. Not sure why we are trying him there as he is another who cannot act as a ball player at the line, or even organise play.
