| Quote ="Kosh"Quote ="JMSports_Ltd"However I cannot have you blaming Agar for re-signing these players
You do realise how was doing all of that for the last three years dont you? She has gone now and perhaps some of the signings will belong to Rich and not Kath.'"
Not that tired old excuse again. She was supposed to be picking the team as well and yet there's a noticeable lack of difference since she left.
Even if it [iwere[/i true and Agar had no say whatsoever in who we signed he should have walked instead of going along with a sham. He's either clueless or gutless - your choice.'"
Well all I can think is that Agar is practicing in Witchcraft as the amount of people who still think non of the mess is his fault is unbelieveable when faced with the facts and stats.
The old chestnut of he didn't pick or sign the players was shattered on Sunday when we were torn apart by one of the poorest Leeds team I've seen in years. If this was the case and Agar now has his chance to pick his own team and tactics then I would expect to see a significant change on the field due to all the experts telling us fans how great a coach this guy is. Quite frankly I have seen no improvement what so ever, plenty of spirit and endeavour but still no end result, poor decision making, poor execution, total brain explosions and panic rugby etc etc etc.
These are the same things we have seen since 2007 and nothing is getting any better.
So my question is what the hell is Agars role and what are his responsibilities? Because he isnt solving and rectifying the same issues we've had for seasons and nothing seems to be his fault??? Enough is enough if it were me at my job and I failed to get my team to carry out there job correctly and effectively as their manager my ar$e would be booted and if no improvement i'd be out.
As for shouldn't have to coach the basics if that what it needs for the team to improve then that is exactley what he should be doing! I get the serious impression that this is completely beyond him and what I see every week in games gives me no reason to change this.
In answer to your point Kosh I would say he is most probably both. He should be a man of his word and walk away as he hasnt taken us forward, quite the opposite infact.

As a coach in sport if he had any pride or respect for himself I would think he would, as being the top quality coach he is reported to be leaving a job shouldnt be a problem as he would get another pretty easily. More likely he wont leave as no other club would offer him a head coaching position certainly in SL as his record is very poor.

Justin Morgan will tell you he has not signed the players Rovers are bringing in now and that Hudge is doing it but he wont walk away until his money is sorted.
There is more to life than worrying about people calling you gutless. I would rather have my mortgage paid than worry about what a few thousand people in Hull think of me.'"
Spot on. The chances of Agar being offered a job at a club at a "big" club are less than zero, so why would he simply resign when he has another 16 months to go on his contract? Morgan has a better chance of getting another SL job, but is supposed to be on a lot more than Agar, so of course he will sit tight and fulfil the basics of his job to receive his contracted pay cheque. Maybe he secretly enjoys doing so if he's not BFFL with Hudgell anymore.

| At least we know that Rich has a job lined up in a sportswear shop when he finally get's the boot, unfortunately though I fear it won't be long before the same old problems begin to surface:
JMSPORTS: '[iRich, I asked you to move all those boxes in the store room, why haven't you done it?'[/i
Agar:[i 'Us is injured, but us will move as many boxes as you want next year'
[/i
JMSPORTS: 'Rich, I've noticed that you've been under-charging a lot of the customers'
Agar: [i'Us isn't very good at sums, but us is learning on the job'
[/i
JMSPORTS: [i'Rich, you're arriving late most days - you really need to be here by 9am'[/i
Agar: [i'Us hasn't been provided with the right kind of alarm clock'
[/i
JMSPORTS: [i'Rich, I'm afraid I just don't think you're cut out for working in a sportswear shop'[/i
Agar: [i'Us disagrees, when us is running us own branch you'll see the difference'[/i

| Quote ="JMSports_Ltd"As for Iest and Noble, Iestyn hardly had the same sort of chance as Noble did with Crusaders, especially as it was his first year in a Head Coach role.
There have been numerous problems faced by Iestyn. Add into that Noble had Jon Sharp and Iest as his backroom team and anybody who played that year will tell you Iestyn and Sharp were the Coaches, Noble didn't do a great deal.'"
I heard this argument before, but it just falls flat in a couple of ways. Firstly, Crusaders have largely the same squad this year, the only significant loss being Hauraki, but this year they haven't been assembled in a month, they've mostly already had a full year together. So if anything Harris has had a better chance than Noble.
Secondly, If Harris and Sharp did most of the coaching last year and Noble didn't do much, it's not really his first year as a Head Coach then, is it? He was essentially De Facto Head Coach last year.
The cold facts are that between last season and this season Crusaders have had only 2 major departures, Hauraki and Noble. The rest is pretty much the same, and they've gone from a rapidly-assembled squad who gelled pretty quickly last year to now mostly looking like they only meet up on matchdays and have no idea what anybody is going to do. It just does not hold up that the man overseeing the pathetic outfit this year should be given the credit for last year's successes instead of the highly decorated coach who was in charge then, and without whom they've fallen apart alarmingly.

Without question. If he's as good as you say he is he should have no trouble finding alternative employment after all.
And he said he'd walk if he couldn't take us forward. Maybe his mouth shouldn't have written a cheque his courage can't cover?
Oh - and he knew what he was getting into when he took the job on.

I don't care. Morgan isn't in the process of ruining my club.

I'd rather have my self respect, having made a public promise to walk if I failed. But there you go.

I am sure he is enjoying every minute
People seem to think that Football Managers and Rugby Coaches should be men of principle and should walk away telling the World of how the club works on the inside and how they are taking a stand!!
Very few have enough money in the bank to live on for the rest of their lives and so many of them put up with it knowing they have a family to support and may never get another Rugby job again.
It is feck all to do with ability, it is to do with who you know. Almost every position filled in Rugby League is done by someone who knows someone getting you a start. I have exploited it myself enough times, everyone has.
Do people really think Agar would walk away from a wage when he feels strongly that he done nothing wrong?

Agar wouldn't walk even if he thought he was doing a bad job. Who would leave a job were they are getting paid for producing nothing especially when they know there is no other job in the foreseeable future in a head coaches capacity at least.

If he really does think that then he's not very self-aware to say the least.
You really aren't doing him any favours you know. You're making him look like an arrogant to$$er who doesn't give a crap about the club and the fans as long as he's drawing a wage, and who likes to blame everyone else but himself for his problems.

I dont see why he would either.
Just seen a facebook group '10,000 Members to get Rich Agar Sacked'
Out of the[size=150 312 members[/size I was trying to work out how many of them would be employed themselves. Not many look that smart to be honest

I am just bored waiting for a few of the boys to arrive for a well earned afternoon round the town (coke for me, non-drinker these days).
I dont really care what Rich thinks and I dont think he worries too much about how many Hockey Sticks I have sold this month. It is purely about the sex, no commitment or relationship between us.

In that case I will advise him to start a facebook group to try and get some of these people the sack too.
Maybe 10,000 was a bit unrealistic, they should of gone for less....,much less.
My advice would be start with around 500 and hope you can get it filled!!

But you cant have it both ways.
Stats are the big thing round here, people love em.
I have checked other groups on facebook and I took the one with the most members just to help the cause.
312 is a good start, but I think it takes a few more before it can be classed as a majority!!
Why dont you attack him with a rubber hammer during the next game? If more people cheeer than jeer then Adam Pearson has some conctrete evidence that Agar has to go!!

You're claiming Facebook group membership as statistical evidence? Now I know you're not being serious.
If you don't realise that the majority of Hull FC fans want to see Rich Agar removed from his position then you're as dim as the man himself. You don't come across like that most of the time though, so stop trying to be obtuse for the sake of it just because you're bored.
