The five minutes I listened to was very interesting. Mr Allam seems deluded and where has he got this Messiah complex from ?? He contradicted himself a few times; claiming not having the cash to buy Hull (for what would be a trivial fee in comparison to the purchase of City) and yet wanting to spend £60M on a new complex out West. And then saying if we merged with Rovers (Gateshull Kingston Rovers ???????) then he'd splash the cash on signing the best Aussies and Kiwis ? If that's what Laa Laa Land is like, pass me some of whatever he's on.

I think what he wants to do is get the council to move Hull Fair and let him develop the land. No doubt he'd like the KC but why buy it when you have the use of it. He's spent £41m to date apparently and he supposedly had a fortune of £100m. He could easily get through the rest of that if he/Hull City get it wrong. Probably misguided and naive but it's his money and you can understand why he might want an asset other than a bunch of professional footballers in return. From what I know of him he's no Lloyd.

In return for what ? He knew that Hull City had no assets when he bought it - nothing has changed since as far as I know. It's a bit rich coming along afterwards and saying "look - City has no assets how do you expect me to do anything ?".

Is Allam asking the council to give him the stadium to fund City in the premier league?

I think what could be really interesting is IF the council do agree to sell the KC Stadium, surely as one of their major assets it would have to be made available for others to buy and not just a closed sale straight to Allam, I am sure their will be others sat in the background thinking they might want a piece of the KC Stadium, someone not football/rugby who would just come along and put everything up price wise and both teams would end up out of there ear.

Purely hypothetical I know but would be interested to hear someone from the Councils stance on this and the possible sale to one individual.

He really thinks that the council will give him it for nothing as he was speaking about the lease for City was only thousands for a whole season. What he has to realise is the staduim has already had the KC/Council money spent on it and he is liable for the up keep because he owns the SMC not the council. So why would the council want to get rid of the KC the biggest asset in the town. Anyway if the council sell it the money goes to the government not the council because of some legal thing the Last Labour Government brought whats included in the contract by all accounts. Then whatever the government wants to give back to the council they can.
