We did play particularly well that day with some expansive stuff thrown in as well - it's just a shame that we didn't see it more often over the course of the season. My own humble opinion is that Rich (and the team) have to deliver consistently this season - the time for talking really is over. I know that every game is tough, the teams are getting closer together, you can't win every week blah, blah, blah, but that doesn't seem to stop the likes of Warrington, Wigan and Saints being consistent.

have always thought agar is out his depth, if you look at record last season we never really beat anyone by a big score once his plan A dosen,t work we usually lose,too predictable. If the hand of fate with regards injuries plays fair with us this year we will be having a good crack at all silverware on offer this coming term thats for sure!! and lets be fair we deserve a season relatively free of injuries after the last three dont we!

Anyone else fed up of the same excuses, injuries!!! Every team will have injuries thats the reason you have squads. Saints didnt do too badly with the injuries they had and made the grand final without there first choice half backs! We will finish at best 6th with the current squad and coaching set up and that is being optimistic.

At last someone speaks sense. Injuries are part of the game . It was not injuries that led to Judas leaving and still nearly 4 yrs down the line we haven't replaced him. Its not due to injuries that we are going into our first friendly of the season with a coach quoted as saying he still doesn't really know who our halves are. Ok you can state Horney but come on folks when if ever will he get back to pre injury and illness quality?

I never thought I would say these things but

1) We should have pushed the boat out when Dobson was available. I wonder if Kath and Jimmy regret that miss.

2) Never before have I been so pessimistic about a season.

I just hope they exceed my expectations unlike the last 4 seasons.

Are you aware we never got him because we did not have a space on the quota??? You seem to be under the view we never got him because he would have gone against our pay structure, although it may have played a part the fact we had no room on quota was the biggest factor.

The only thing that did for Hodgson was idiot fans not having the patience to give him a chance, nor the nouse to see what a tough job he had to do. Now that 'King' Kenny's inherited the same bunch of no-marks of a squad, suddenly the same fans are magically realising it's the player's that are the issue.

Rarely do I think I've seen anyone be so unfairly dumped on from so great a height by fans than Roy Hodgson, he deserved so much better.

We play some of the most mind numbing rugby known to man, our points scored tally for 2010 shows this. The only possible light for Agar for me is that after successive seasons in decline maybe last year was just a case of consolidation and stopping the rot and making our way further up the table at all costs, and this season with us going in the right direction we open up and try and score points. That's only based on blind optimism though, and that wasn't even to make me renew my season ticket, the first time since 98.
