Good points, but let's not suppose we're the only badly run club. Wigan have bigger crowds, and bigger names in both the coaching and playing staff and look how that's working out. Warrington have good crowds, seemingly endless resources to spend on players and Tony Smith and they're not pulling up trees either. Then check out Wakefield, with a skinny squad, tonnes of injuries and poor attendances. Maybe we should have kept Kear after all.

I don't class having a moan on here as "doing something about it". Either launch a concerted campaign to get £3-5m together or stop whingeing about it. Pi$$ off the investors in the club and they take the money out, then what?

I dont believe the hype about how much money they put in because Kath & co were skint when they took over. They had to get the backing from the RFL and the rest of SL to give them a chance to recoup their losses. All this bullcrap about £1.7m in Directors loans shown in the clubs accounts is just a front to say they havnt recouped their losses from the Gateshead fiasco and the clubs debt of which half of it was wiped out in the 1st year as Hull Fc recieved 2 clubs TV monies.

I have never really " Had a go " at the running of the club since the Lloyd fiasco. But now , I feel whole sale changes are needed from the playing squad . To the top.
The club seems to have reached a point where we don't look like surpassing without change.

As you could see by my reply CAPS LOCK I was having a go at you because you are being a little stupid - there are lots of people in this country and around the world who follow teams of all kinds - we take the rough with the smooth - Think Liverpool this week - they all were floating then Man United scored a last minute goal and Chelsea stuffed them - Following a team means this and you know yourself that HULL FC is so much a part of your life. Fact is there's no point in screaming for the board to be ousted. Regardless of whether Kath and co want to be there or not they can't go until someone coughs up enough to cover the debt they share personally.

It's in their interests to make the club and team as successful as possible to increase the value of the business to cover that debt. I heard £3M is needed but the last offer was half that - so they're stuck.

The frustrating thing is they seem to have it sorted as a viable and progressive prospect off the field with our grade A licence and sound development plans, but don't or won't do the same for the most important and publicly seen element - the team!

Invest to escape, Kath. Or stay and spend to inflate your long term value. Either way she needs to do the best for Hull - regardless of whether it's for love or hard-nosed business necessity.
