No I don't think they have G and it really has all gone quiet although to almost reaffirm that signings are afoot in his letter to season ticket holders which arrived last Friday Adam does say (after he discusses our new signings)that there are there new arrivals "...as well as the potential for further signings in the coming weeks!" Unusually the Club is either really water tight with regard to information getting out or it might be that getting sorted with players moving out to accommodate signings is taking some time or that the deals have stagnated or even fallen through.

gaskell hasn't been announced anywhere else so plenty of time.

On another thing, I know for a fact the Dobbins are really unhappy about Walker leaving after they'd supported him legally.

Catalan have had a big clear out and have released Carney and Taylor in addition to Escare going to Wigan, so thats a massive chunk of Salary Cap freed up for them. They've also booted out the Director Of Rugby, Assistant Coach and Fitness coach! and signed Luke Burgess.

Tommy Lee's gone to Saints, Warrington have signed Crosby & Savelio from Wigan & Saints.

Nothing that instantly means transfer news for us, but it frees up cap space for other teams to sign players and start the game of Chess going.

... not sure if it is, the only 2 companies being bought are
Hull City Tigers Limited, (company registered number 4032392) and Superstadium Holdings Limited, (6181187).

SMC owes Mr Allam about £11m.

It might explain why Mr Allam had been saying he wanted £120m for city, and this current deal is for £130m (city+smc).

Having AP involved in any prospective takeover can only be positive.

I think its good news for everyone, obviously good news for us, he knows Football and can deliver for City and has proven he can run the SMC at least at Breakeven levels for the Council.

Agreed, but any deal is far from done apparently.

You get to control the stadium usage, charging structure etc. There was an arrangement in place to return a share of any profits to the council, bit these were modest to say the least until the Allams took over then suddenly SMC became loss-making.

So he wants £10 million for a company that's "not made a profit" in years?

I presume that allam will gift any profit he makes from his sale of city to the people of Hull so he can realise the "gift" he sought so hard for since he took them over
