It's a win thankfully but as Radford said we'll have to be a whole lot better next week.
I think Carlos is still a few weeks away. I'd think it'll be Cam Scott if he is fit or maybe Buchanan.

Cracking game, full credit to Salford, they never gave up, even when the game looked beyond them. Some fabulous try's by us.

Just about to watch the sky game, I don't know the score, but I get the feeling it won't be as entertaining as our game.

What a weird game that was. Three quick tries and we were flying but credit to Salford they never gave up and at half time despite a relatively comfortable lead I knew it was far from over.

We scored some terrific tries but again our defence is fragile. Happy with the two points though and we could do with a Warrington win tomorrow.

We will never keep Pauli Pauli off the score sheet against us.

Played some scintillating stuff in that 1st half and thought what a comfortable night this is going to be.
Came out 2nd half a little bit more conservative to my mind as if trying to preserve the lead but again errors killed us and Faraimo's edge defence was again schoolboy at times.
Pleased with the win the 2 points and the positive momentum for next Thursday.

Our defence it shocking and fairaimo is the worst of the lot. Highest points against in SL and the coach needs to get it fecking sorted

Did none of you seee Ratus try, it was special, came on it like a bullet train and was in top gear, unbelievable none of you have mentioned it, it was ing down up to kick off, I got my brolly in, no problems, Salford eventually found our soft centre, and refused to go away, another five minutes and the two points were gone.

Do you know what, I have serious doubts you actually attend matches, your quips are funny and rueful, but as a true supporter I don’t believe you, your quoting home and away points difference against a side who destroyed Cats in their own back yard, pushed Saints all the way, and we’ve just done the double over them, yes you’ll lord it that rovers beat them, you had to be there, and I’m pretty sure you wasn’t.

But Jakes right when he says our defence on left edge is bad. We concede far too many points in that area and its been apparent for some time. It needs sorting out quickly if we're going to win anything.

So what’s incorrect about JTP has put?

As our defence this season has been shocking as the pts difference shows. It is indeed something that needs sorting as we could quite easily have lost had Salford not messed up the restart.
We seem to have a real problem in attitude/concentration and just collapse.
One of the cornerstones of Hull FC when Radford took over was the defence but now it’s terrible.
Yes it was 2pts and good to get but yet again we capitulated which is a concern.

For me it was a game that I will remember for two things really that wonderful score by Ratu (already probably a candidate for the June try of the month) and another game saving and brilliant restart kick by Sneyd that saw Salford mess up big style at the death.

I don’t like individuals being singled out, but JTP is correct about the defence in general. Singling out Faraimo is harsh given that two tries went in when we were down to 11 and another two of theirs were Pauli barge overs .

Can’t remember seeing any comments regarding the tries we bombed whic would have put us out of sight.

Thought Green was wrongly sin binned. As for Griffin, I was sat in the West Stand so difficult to comment but it didn’t look great. Would expect EGP and 2 games.

My thoughts are we are not giving enough cover on that side. Sat in the south stand you can see the isolation at times . It does need sorting. But a win is a win.and if Calsburg did drama for Rugby teams we are the boys

Doubt all you want mate. I was there. Got pizzing wet through walking to the ground, watched some good stuff from us in attack but bl00dy awful defence on our left edge. Fairamo isn't the only one. Mini drops off far too many tackles, griffins 1 on 1 defence isnt great and sneyd is a little half back who gets spotted so we probably have the 4 worst defenders stood together defending that side which is why we shipped 6 tries down there last night. Admittedly 2 were whilst we were.

Why do you think they didn't score down our right hand side despite having hastings on that edge?
Like too many fans, you don't really seem to see what's actually going on on the pitch.

We need some axcou tant to do us a pie chart of where we concede tries but I doubt shell don't as she didn't do the last one I asked for

Fact is we have conceded the most points in sl. Do you think that is acceptable? Admittedly we have played one more game than some team but it's hardly the point. Defensively were one of the worst in the comp and it needs sorting. Some of it is attitude and some of it structure but it's the coach's job to sort it

Looked to me that inu landed flat on his back fortunately so might go in griffins favour but I expect a ban. It wasnt malicious but certainly an illegal tackle and we can have no complaints about the red card
