Watched him since he first played he's gradually got better and better and had a great game tonight as did our acting halves so fast distribution and great passing that made a real change. Good game big crowd FC Victory!

Its crazy to think he was playing open aged for a pub team 2 months ago, whoever decided to give him a shot has done well and Mashi has taken it with both hands.

He was very very good,he put in 1 tackle in the 1st set that really rocked the rovers man.Abdul looks more at home at 13,Turget was quiet but both Tyson-Wilsons are very good..Harry has a really good passing game and joins the line from deep on attack creating extra man and the Logan try in 2nd half was very good.Highlight was the ref ballsing the tackle count up and giving rovers turn over on the 5th tackle and hearing a hull player shout as he ran past to make a tackle " count properly ref" and all of us getting mucky looks off a rovers woman for daring to shout

Thought Harry Tyson-Wilson totally dominated the game and was far and away the best player on the pitch.
Charlie Johnson (17) changed the game when he came on and got stuck into the Rovers forwards.
He may not have done much with the ball but Bastiman did a great job on Hallett who is Rovers main attacking threat.

Matongo (sp) was immense in the 2nd half, stand out forward by a mile just for that spell. Thought HTW did some good stuff, but I agree our 1-5 were dire. Good to see a lot of the first team down there too, Ellis, Westy, Whiting etc.

Matongo would be getting signed up in the morning if I was in charge.
what he could be physically with real training conditioning n nutrition is scary. A tremendous engine on him. Played nearly all first half barring 5 n was as strong at the end as he was the begining. Sprinting out for kick pressure. Ive watched a lot of 20/19s over the yrs n rolled up to look at players people have been raving about. Every now n then an unknown impresses you. But seldom have I been impressed like that. Think what did it was bwing informed/blown away halfway through 2nd half by the knowledge he was 16!
Keeping in mind also that rovers team nearly all max age n only 2hull lads over age next yr. A few yrs at that age makes a big difference. So for him n a number of the hull forwards to be so dominant was impressive!!!

The young prop was fantastic, big drives, great defence and very fit, played nearly all the first half, my mate who I was with said he has been playing open age with Norland and been causing all kind of problems against adults. Not sure were he has come from, but heard he hasn't been in the country for long, certainly one to keep an eye on.

Not much between the teams, Rovers very work man like, but I though Hull just had that extra skill in the halfs, HTW and Dean both had good games, their skill set is already better than all our first team halfs, just need to develop physically.

Apparently the big prop is 18. Even still, his physique is impressive for a lad that age. Most impressive was 10 minutes from time having played at least 50 minutes he chased an Abdull kick down 60 metres and was there first with Logan & Stark.

Theres a couple of players similar in the H&D leagues, very physically mature for there years. Ones 6 ft 2 or taller at age 13.

Johnson i heard they dont think he is tall enough !

The other kid, although i havent seen his performance tonight i saw the last 2 home games and he didnt stand out

Type of kids that get hindered by playing against kids their own age because they don't need to learn any core skills as they get by purely on their size and strength.

We should sign him, if for nothing other than to hear the commentators attempt to pronounce his name

He went OK, scored a nice try at the end, thought it was strange to play a top halfback prospect at hooker though.

I didn't think any of the Rovers players stood out, all looked hard working and solid.

Hallett showed a couple of touches, he is a big lad and has a perfect size for a centre, just based on that performance, I would say that those two will make SL players, not sure about the rest.
