If we had promotion/relegation then it creates excitement for fans and the clubs involved other than that finishing top or winning the Championship playoff is now meaningless.
When HKR had a chance to finish top of S/L look how many on here poo pooed that as nothing.

Thanks, having to watch it with no sound, wanting to check that Mcdonald was the PNG FB.

Good to see their trying to do something with the TV scheduling games for next season . Hopefully we get to see a more sensible approach to kick off times and games potentially clashing .

It will lead to some strange kick off times I expect and back to Thursdays. If there's only 1 Friday night game it will mess a lot of clubs scheduling about

Can’t imagine his children being in favour of it.

Probably grants and funding available for ground improvements too. Might be a matter of needs must. Think Huddersfield are going in one direction with regards IMG points and expect a threat from York, Bradford and Toulouse in the next year or so. Would secure their SL future if it gave them an extra IMG point or two.
