You could see from the kick off in last years final that discipline had been drilled into the players.We cleared the ruck quickly and didnt give away too many penalties

We can't afford to have Washbrook AND Connor on the bench, Connor is back up goal kicker and has being more effective than Griffin for the majority of the season. It might sound harsh on Griffin given his later season form but we don't have the luxury of leaving a back on the bench potentially for most of the game, not IF Washbrook is there which is almost 100% certain.

If you have Connor on the bench and Griffin in the backs then who misses out?

Griffin will play imo, be gobsmacked if he doesn't, connor on the bench, Thompson 18th man

Nice to have no injury/disciplinary/team selection distractions nor the 'but Hull have never won at Wembley question' this season.

I think the Huddersfield match will already be long forgotten and our 17 will be just fully focussed on Saturday. They also know they'll have our absolute backing throughout the game.

I'm quietly confident and can't wait.

Absolutely - same team and subs as the Semi-Final :Connor Green Bowden and Washbrook the bench. Griffin has been our most consistent performer over the last 6 weeks. Mahe Fanoa owes his team and the fans a massive performance on Saturday - been under par the last three games he has played!

Mahe will deliver. He's a big game player, remember he was instrumental in both of our tries last year. Have faith!!

RFL Director Roger Draper has said they expect the attendance on Saturday to be around 65,000 although there won't necessarily be fewer there than in recent years as previously Club Wembley seats were counted regardless of whether or not they were occupied.

Hull FC have sold 16,000 tickets and Wigan 8,000. Draper said that in total they expect there to be 20,000 Hull FC fans in the stadium.

Am I right in thinking there are about 17000 club Wembley seats,if so the actual attendance was around 60000 last year?Give or take a couple of thousand that were actually sat in there..

That's correct - 15,000 Club Wembley seats but only around 10% would usually be taken up for the Challenge Cup Final. This year Club Wembley has more or less sold out.

The RFL also took the wise decision to concentrate Upper Tier sales on the side opposite the TV cameras.
