You are making yourself look silly, we have a very young squad and need experience players like Pryce, Ellis and MM to give balance.

Last year we had about 10 players play for England at various levels, players coming through each year from our youth and have signed the best young scrum half in SL for next season.

But you carry on being negative and having dogs whenever you can.

Our recruitment so far for next season has been the best in years and along with our academy which is in the best state ever, they are plenty of things to be positive about.

But he wasn't injury prone when we signed him, his injury record at Warrington was outstanding.

I dont know why people get so hung up about it all, the age thing annoys me, peolple bleat on how 32 is a great age. But dont mention the fact that next year when he pulls on a shirt he'll be 33, and play for us for 2 years.

We dont have a long list of 35 year old who played in SL for us.

I'll wait and see how he goes for us before i judge if hes a good signing or not.

Carvell wasn't injury prone when at Wire. In fact he had a pretty stellar injury record there. Makes you wonder...

You could try addressing the point rather than having a mild dig. He's not wrong - you can check it for yourself. Many on here (myself included) expected Carvell to spend most of his time at Wire in the treatment room based on his previous record with us but we couldn't have been more wrong.

It wasn't a mild dig at all, it was a "do you ever actually speak about the reality, that FC are pants at the moment and Carvell was a poor signing, hence his release"

Colbon,must be close to 30.I must admit I didnt know carvels record at warry was so good,but spent a lot of his career injured.

Some can't wait to knock the new signings and have little digs but when we retain a player like Hadley the usual moaners go missing on that thread mmmmm wonder why ?

Carvell was a last min n at the time good addition. He picked up a knock n in the corresponding time bowden n thomson stiod up to be counted. Cas were looking to bulk squad up in that area n radford was already favouring them 2 n knew green was ready n only had carvel in mind for 1 yr. So benificial to let him go and suited carvel travel wise to go cas.
As a signing didnt work out as well as it might but wasnt a'bad' signing. Anyone who says they knew thomson would have done as well as a prop is a liar n yet ellis still had to do some prop time for some games. So adding carvell when we did cant be called a bad signing-just sensible at the time.
