Good half overall. Solid defence and much improved attack. Lack of possession is a worry though - don't want to be tiring in the last 20 again. If we can just keep hold of the ball better and cut down on pens we should close this out.

Seem to have shot out of the starting blocks early on and took the wind out of Bradford which is great stuff. Too many errors though. Really need to cut these out, lack of possession will simply let the opponent back in.

Think if we can keep a hold of the ball we could do to finish them off early in the second half.

Better, but still further improvement needed at the PTB. Offloads doing most of the damage. Houghton's passing much improved, and Green's 1st spell absolutely outstanding, easily been our best prop. Pick of the rest McDonnell.

2nd try was an odd one. Excellent kick from Crookes to McDonnell, but the opportunity came because of a poor pass from Holdsworth. If It had gone as planned we'd probably have been wrapped up easily.

The pack have turned up, that's the difference. We're still pretty basic in attack, we've just had more room to pass the ball along the line at times.

Well, Gentle said we'd be better this week and we have been. And come away with the 2 points. Can't say fairer than that.

Much better than last week. Halfbacks looked very good - particularly Horne, who was outstanding. McDonnell was faultless at the back and Crooks had an encouraging game.

Loads of silly mistakes and scrappy errors, but the improvement was significant on last week.

well done FC, better than expected, and by the sounds of it, for this game, I owe Horne an apology, which I happily make.

Bradford defence gifted us a few line breaks, but we defended very well and restricted the Bradford pivots. Much improved on last week, good performances from a number of players.

I put a 5 quid bet on a 16-20 point winning margin at 8/1, went to pick the coin up and won 25 quid from 3 quid on one of them roulette thing machines, had 2 teeth out the other day, a win for each tooth!

Great win today, it was important to get the 2 points and an improvement on the attacking performance and defensive is a bonus, looking forward to the next game now.
