hes very light and very average at the moment

plays centre a bit doesnt he and back row. I mentioned him a few weeks ago as well as i think he is a good player. Runs good lines, quite strong and decent pace

He's played pretty much everywhere apart from the halves and hooker I think, although most of his games in the forwards have come from the bench.

I'd steer well clear, I don't think he's a very good player and I've heard some not so good things about him off the pitch too.

Think he can play both but all his best games I have seen have been when he plays in the back row.

Not saying I would sign him, just that I think he is quite an underrated player. Is he any better than those two...right now maybe he is due to his gametime and versatility but longer term I don't know.

Was in one of the morning papers last month saying hull fc were after him

Never been overly impressed when I've seen him before, but who's to say a change of scene wouldn't work for him. You have to wonder what our own youngsters would think if he came in ahead of them though.

Based on the uncertainty of his position I would say this guy could be the new Richard Whiting!

Wouldn't be looking to sign him. We've got good squad players with plenty of back up. We now need to be aiming at adding class amongst the team now to go along with the few we've got.

When mentioned about a month ago Cas were on TV and looked out for him.

But don't think he is a centre or winger which is where they were playing him due to injuries.

Could make a decent back rower to replace Tickle and Galea along with our youngsters.

Terrible in the threequarters, very average in the 2nd row. Surely his agent is using us, as I can't see us going for a player like him. We have 8 second rowers better than him already!

Could flourish at a decent team. Done alright as a young un at a poor team.

These are my thoughts too, Gentle obviously sees something (if we do sign him). Just look at Pitts as a good example

Always looks a very good player to be fair to him. Had to play centre cos of Cas's squad problems. He's a ball playing 2nd row, reminds me of Rich Fletcher a bit.

Of all the promising young players at Cas he would be the very last I would sign. Been around a couple if years now and looks nowhere near the standard of player we should be signing. Much rather promote from within unless a player of sufficient quality is available.

Jordy is a very good underrated player, definitely right to compare him to Whiting with the versitility he offers, FB, wing, centre, 2nd row - would like to see him used more as a 13. To the person who says he's heard bad things off the pitch , then I'd like to know what because JT has his head screwed on more then most, a decent pro. He'll never set the world on fire (apart from his hair) but he'll give his all, tackle well, finish trys off and put his body on the line.


On the flip side, I do rate JT, but if Hull are striving for top 4, it seems a strange signing, but would cost less then a foreign import.
