Well it's a no brainer, they have a better squad that have been contesting and winning trophies in recent years. They have a very good head to head record against us including at the KC and for all those reasons I would say they will start favourites.

their squad may be better on paper, but it all depends who actually is fit, for them and us, and how the games in the weeks prior go.

They could lose Senior, Peacock and McGuire and I would still have them as favourites.

No I haven't but they beat us at home this season without McGuire, Peacock and a couple of others. Should they lose key players like McGuire, Sinfield and Peacock then it helps us of course and makes it more even. They are not miles ahead of us but look at recent results including the two matches last year plus the CC match at the KC, then look at this seasons match.

One minute you slate the side and then want to fight their corner when it comes to comparing them with Leeds.

I never slate the side unless they're not performing, which early season they were not and some individuals are still not putting what I class to be an acceptable "shift" every week.

RA has always tried his bag off and worked tirelessly to improve the side , the hours he spends on VT alone makes him a true FC through and through, a great coach NOW with an almost complete side including halves and centres and bizarely were gaining momentum in both SL and CC

Which, TBH, has no more evidence behind it. We're playing better stuff because we have better players, particularly in the halves and backs, and fewer injuries.
