Hock should get the same punishment as Les Boyd got for a similar offence - an 18 month ban.
Then let's see if the Australian equivalent of Warrington decide that he's such a good bloke, they'll take him on.

Lets see if the RFL finally have the balls to do something about wigan for once. I can see Hock getting 3 matches which is a farce. If the RFL are serious about expanding the sport they need to deal with issues like this firmly, as they would in any other sport such as union or aussie rules etc, or face losing all credibility.

If he's chargesd with gouging the absolout minimum he can get is 4, (right at the low end of grade E), given his past I'd hope its towards the upper end of E (8 games) or F (8+ or suspended to set date). As others have said RU don't about with a months ban for gouging, the RFL shouldn't either. |

WIGAN Warriors second rower Gareth Hock has been charged with gouging Warrington Wolves' Ben Harrison in the 80th minute of Sunday's clash at The Halliwell Jones Stadium.
If found guilty at tomorrow's disciplinary hearing, he faces a ban of between four and eight matches for the grade E offence.
Wigan prop Jeff Lima has been cautioned for pulling Matt King's hair, and Wigan full back Sam Tomkins has been cautioned for kicking out to prevent Jon Clarke's try.
