Depends. Yeamo would offer far more as a wide running 2nd row that Tickle, Radford, Burnett etc.

If we were to use Lauaki as an impact prop i could see Yeamo and Manu spelling that role for the left hand channel with Hall and Raynor as the outside backs. I firmly believe Yeamo could do well in that kind of role. Its an option that i dont think people should rush to discount.

Depends, it 2011 we could lose Fitzgibbon, Radford and Tickle.

That would leave us very short in the backrow, and with J Briscoe and Lynne coming through and Hall and T Briscoe already playing there it could be a good option.

I wonder if we could one day see this as our backline?

It'll be interesting to see how Briscoe develops physically. In fact in not too many years he may look like the second row candidate. Yeaman may want to play in the back row but imo he's not big enough. He needs to up his game significantly this year as do many and they may get the opportunity to do that with the players around them that have come in. I'm sure they'll all get a chance to lay claim to positions cos you can bet your life we won't go injury free. But if we do what a pleasant change it would be to have a player who's in good form , doing nothing wrong , not injured or banned just not being able to get into the 17.

He's played most of his junior rugby at centre so I expect him to end up there

He's supposed to be a centre isn't he? so no matter were he plays i'd expect a bit of passing ability, which he hasn't shown(yet).

I think it's also a case of who else is in the 'play making' role: A settled Berrigan at hooker for starters, also Washbrook at loose man would improve our attacking options and create a greater level of unpredictability. Fitz is no mug and the glimses of Hames' attacking ability give us a mouth watering prospect next season.

IMO it is nearly 100% certain that Fitzgibbon will be loose forward due to the abundance of second rowers at the club.
Washy will be cover for Horne and Long in the halves. He shouldnt have long to wait for a game!!!

Still cover for next season unless Raynor goes down, then him and Hall at 5 and 4. Back up centre for Yeaman and Hall ahead of Turner and Whiting. Should be given a chance to see what he can do in Super Laegue there.
