I've not forgotten, I was at every game.

I think we're playing more up the middle than last season, not pushing it out to the wings. We're slower too.

I blame the whole set up, but I don't think having Jon Sharp on the coaching staff will help us play fast, expansive, creative rugby. He did nothing for Hudds, and he'll do nothing for us. It was a sideways step, not a forward one.

I'm not sure about that. Five of our first choice backs are full internationals after all.

Daft as it may sound, I think much of the problem in the backs may be down to all apart from Tony being English. We, as a country, have struggled for quality backs for years, particularly at centre and half, which is where Hull are lacking. We saw the difference a top half could make when Head came over, and in the games Dykes played last year, but there isn't anyone here anywhere near that standard, least of all Thorman.

I thought I was too, but obviously I missed a shedload where we revelled in wide running and wing play.

SL is slower as a whole this year thanks to the 'wrestle' interpretations being altered. See Huddersfield for the prime example. We're just particularly poor at this area so it stands out more.

As trys'r'us said, Agar has supposedly been focussed on our attack for the past couple of years and it has consistently looked woeful. Do we need a big flashing neon sign pointing out this coincidence?

Bring Matt Head back, when we released him i was gutted, he was class IMO, actually tried something different instead of wait till the last tackle then do a poor kick (Thorman)

If we get of Agar then Sharp will get the job and we will still play the same rugby, keep Agar unless someone absolutley superb(KEARNEY

) wants the job. Then at the end of the season get rid of 10 players and the coach get a new man in and a frsh start.

For all that to happen we need forward thinking, passionate people leading the club, we have neither, there in lies the problem.

Once again, something that was mentioned at the time. But apparently Agar's natural attacking flair was being stifled by Peter Sharpe. Or something.

His 200K + wage demands were and would be in the future a stumbling block.
Hull wanted him . He wanted a massive deal.

It does indeed. I remember saying around the time of Sharp's sacking that I'd much rather we replaced Agar than Sharp.

I'm still yet to see anybody explain why this is so.

Agar has now been here for 3 coaching setups who play dire rugby. We've continued where we left off from last season, when Jon Sharp wasn't even here. How is Jon Sharp the problem in all this? He may well be amongst the problems, but I would suggest Agar is higher up the list.

Agree too. FWIW i can see Sharp and Agar going if we lose at Salford. (i hoped they would have gone by this morning when i woke up but sadly not)

because he is having too much say, if the players have no respect for someone it will be difficult to motivate them imo

to be replaced by whom? Crooks and Crooks? Cullen? Macca? i really can't see a so called top coach coming here, sometimes you,ve got to face facts, we're not good enough in all facets of the game, lets face it' who'd have thought we'd lose 4 on the bounce at home, and no disrespect to them, to Cas, Salford, Dobbins and Wakey, somethings WRONG!!!!

Agree..I fully expected to hear this morning that RA and JS had left club by mutual and AL to take over as caretaker till we get a real coach.

I still think we have the good enough players, and as a club im confident we can attract the best, maybe not mid-season though. I dont know who is available, thats not my job but all i can say is theyve must be better than Agar and Sharp. Lost the dressing room and tactically clueless. What more can i say!?
