| Yep Sezer and Cust as half's for start of the season. My optimism for the new season has just taken a knock.

| Oh boy things are quiet!!!! I can recall just 9 more Joe's who played for us and that just about gives us a team, although a lot would have to play out of position!!!!.
I think looking at the stuff I have its difficult to furnish a full FC team with joes. Of course there was Joe Brown loose forward or half back, the famous Joe Oliver full back and we also had a Joe Ramsden a second row who played for us in 1942 on loan from rovers because they didn't run a war time team. More recently there was Joe Bullock who played two games on loan from Salford for us. Joe Hamill was a prop in the 1914/15 season There was also a Joe 'Cloggy Clarke' but about him I know nothing Then stretching it a bit, there's young Joe Thompson Joe Ward and Joe Turner who play for our current academy

Rovers got rid because he turned up preseason massively over weight, he then had hamstring issues at Catalan

Why sign him if he needed a knee op then? And wait until now to address it?

Why did Rovers sign Ryan Hall off the back of 2 ACL injuries?
I've said we probably should've got it looked at at the start of pre season, but ideally it would've been looked at last season. Catalans and Rovers refused to pay for an op to get his knee cleaned out as he was moving on

| Massive danger with signing players over 30 !
Adam must be interested as over 30s signings have plagued him in the past
Abdull - didn’t we MRI the guy ?
Why wait for an op ? Do it now !
He can’t play unfit needing surgery

| Sounds like the rumours about Balmfotth not impressing in training are false, one positive of Abdul, is a chance for Cust and Seizer to play together, I'd just operate on Abdul and let those two form a partnership, with Kemp as back up.
Excited to see Balmforth off the bench, which I don't think would have happened if Abdul was fit

Your coach has just come out and said a op is a option, but it looks as though they don’t want to go down that road so why did he need a clear out last year and not now? Seems you’re just trying to pass the blame onto other clubs

| Well after been labelled as a low life and unemployed for suggesting Abdull had an injury, it turns out that, unfortunately, the injury to Abdul is worse than originally thought.
For me if there was any indication Abdull needed a clear out of the knee, especially with his track record, the club should’ve put him under the knife ASAP. Looks inevitable that he will miss the start of the year.

| Can't understand why he didn't have the op before pre season. He would now be 3 months in to his recovery. Seems strange trying to rehab it and hope for the best after all the issues he's had with it.
Good to hear that Cust is impressing though. Think he could have a really big season now he's back playing under John Cartwright.

Not really. His Hull contract didn't start until October/November. It'd be like us sending Sutcliffe to Huddersfield without sorting his ankle out.

What offer him the world, like you said, how much is that?
You also have no idea if other clubs wanted him or not, I'm sure there are a fee clubs who would have signed him given the chance, despite his injury record, look at Trueman, Scott etc. Evands and Hall for Rovers too. Clubs sign players who are I jury risks, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
You are Rovers fan, you hate Hull, I've seen your posts about Hull on Twitter. You ate always going to be negative about us.

evalds has won the only lance todd on the losing team and been in various finals with a solid work ethic
ryan hall doesnt need an introduction
abdull hasnt completed half a season in 4 years
this isnt being negative, its just following the abdull story which is laughable... he laughs at clubs and takes them for a ride

Evalds played less than 50% on games in his 3 seasons at Cas. In fact he played less games that Abdul in those seasons.
Hall hardly played for 2 years, so was a massive risk.
You don't like Hull and Abdul, all of your information on Abdul and his attitude who wants him and how.much we are paying him is pure guesswork, unless you have some evidence?

Me, maybe 5, what's your point.
16 games according to RL project, which more than Danny Richardson.
Stick to Twitter mate, arguing with Leeds, Hull, Salford and Wigan fans, that's about your level.

There have been twelve Lance Todd Trophy winners who were on the losing side, not the one which you originally claimed. You see it's always worth checking before posting so as to avoid looking a fool.

| When you've got such a small pool of players then the majority of the signings that teams make could be classed as gambles, even those with terrible injury records usually get signed up somewhere, just look at Trueman and Abdul, there will be others too, I personally don't think Micky Mac will play that many for us as his recent injury records not the best.
Regarding Abdul, I think his body isn't used to putting the hard work in, Catalans are known to not train as often as the other teams and it was rumoured that Steve Mac had him on very light training whilst he was over there.
As a Rovers fan looking in at FC's pre season I think you'll obviously be a lot fitter than you was last season, (it'd be pretty hard not to be) which will/should help with your discipline and should help with the blow out scores,
I still honestly believe that you're squad will probably be bottom two, I'm not sure there's enough genuine quality to improve that much, obviously being fitter will mean your more competitive but I don't see enough quality.
