I'd like to say to all the moaners, non believers....enjoy!!
Cos when the team line up was emerging a lot of u spat dummies out, gave up and whinged... Good your team didn't!!!
Not here to tell u how to go about Ur business..... But reading sheer dribble on here at times.....never a positive spin on things!

I agree with you. Pearson may turn out to be the best thing to ever happen to this club but it doesnt mean he is faultless in this instance.

I was very very pleased with our win last night, purely because we seemed much more confident and showed a lot more character then we have for ages. We had a game plan and stuck to it. Great times!

Watts was awesome, a real good signing if he keeps that up. Thought Pitts had his best game for us, Heremaia improving and saved us a few times, Manu's best game for weeks, I could go on! Great stuff

Heremaia looked good I thought, but needs to buy some proper studs for his boots. Kept slipping over

Quick mention for Chris Green who I thought did well in his spells. Unlucky to be penalised for a ball steal when the Rovers player was holding the ball above his head in one hand. Worked hard and showed good mobility. Another who has every chance of making it again if he keeps his head down and works hard.

Thought it was an overreaction at the time. Now looks even more of one.

Seems to me every game somebody says, they think Pitts had his best game for us, does anybody think hes been a good signing yet?, young, english, good squad player me thinks

The Pearsonettes , i am assuming you used this term to take a swipe at people who are happy with him obviously you,re not but yet you argued the toss about him last week regarding how much he,s achieved in sport

Think if Chris Green locks himself in the gym and puts on a bit of muscle he'll go very well next season, same for Pitts maybe, both look a bit too slim and even though they played with passion last night they could both be at risk of getting too worn out when it's not as intense as last night. We've seen Pitts get knocked down and he's missed a few tackles and I'm sure Green would be the same if he had as much gametime

Very True, and to be fair Pearson did't mention no names(may as well off but did't) Richard Horne is in the same boat as Seymour, nobody seems to be jumping to his defence, and Horny as at least taking it on the chin and gone out last night and put in a decent performance, Seymour needs to do the same if he gets another chance

Chris Green got himself very involved last night, made a lot of drives and tackles during his spells. Still not completely sure about him, though, as he gave away a lot of penalties.
Even though he's slim, he'll stick have quite a bit of weight to him because he's very tall.


Jay Pitts wasn't bad but I'm still not convinced with him playing through the middle. I think that he'll be better playing outwide as he has been run over a couple of times so far.
Honestly, from what I've seen of him so far I would be disappointed if he were to be in the 'ideal' starting 17 for next season. However, I think he's a good squad player and has plenty of time to continue improving.

Interview with Gentle just said that he has a knee injury and will be seeing a specialist today.

According to the write-up on BBC Sport, we were planning on playing him at Loose Forward
