Everyone's entitled to an opinion. All I'm saying is that if it's formed upon flawed reasoning/considerations, it's worth very little. David Icke was entitled to tell anyone he liked that he was the second coming, that doesn't mean people should take notice and that he had a point.

I agree that it's pretty pointless to say we might sign someone tomorrow but we can't tell you now, I'm just disagreeing with implying that signing a player on the fringes of SOO isn't good enough, and consider this:

You are allowed an opinion but can expect to have it questioned. To say a player who has nearly played SOO is only "nearly good enough for a top 4 side" is clearly not true when none of the overseas players at the top four clubs have any SOO players.

The aussie top 4 changes nearly every season so cant see your point on that....he has played nearly 250 games in the nrl and you dont play that many if your crap.....him,Ellis and Westy will give us the best back 3 in the league

My opinion is valid and important to me, I don't care what a bunch of strangers on the internet think, you may seek validation from others, I find my own within.

On topic, as it's a rumour, I felt obliged to check out Mark Minichiello. I believe "junk in the trunk" is the phrase.

He'll need to wrap up for pre-season training.

Of the three rumoured Pritchard would be a great signing on par with Ellis. Heighington and MM good signings, but we still lack impact, Unless Sa comes off the bench.

Wouldn't surprise me if it was someone not even mentioned and maybe a south sea islander.

Who said anything about seeking validation? Seeking approval and caring/being interested in the opinions of others are not the same thing. Actually if he said near city/county it will be neither as both have played at that level.

The problem is he is just the type of player that Radford likes.No flair but works hard so it wouldn't surprise me plus he is out of contract at the end of this season.

Jason Chan would have been a good signing, the type of player we need.
