The most disappointing thing about this is not hvaing Berrigan in the centres next season as I thought he would have gone well. We have cover at centre in Whiting and Turner but neither fill me with delight. Whiting would probably get the nod as he is dependable but lacks the pace required in attack.

I cant decide if its a clever move by Hull with a decision made that Berrigans influence will be diminished by the emergence of Danny Houghton, therefore leaving his salary more valuable spent elsewhere.
Or, its blind panic by Hull because other areas are in desperate need of strengthening but you havnt currently got the Cap space to do it.
Either way it looks late in the day to be doing it and it looks increasingly as though signing Joe Westerman ultimately stopped you signing a half back, which as an outsider looking in looks a strange one seeing as how much cash you clearly had to buy one and looseforward wasnt an area needing strengthening.
