That's all of the fullbacks I can think of, got most of them. So if the fb's from Oz it's got to be one of them.
If any I'd go with Mini. Looks as though he will be shipped out from Roosters and Tansey starting to impress there also. World class player and in 2005 was voted the best player in the world. Injured quite abit now so I wouldn't put it past him signing for us.
'"
Tansey - no thanks, I have never liked him although he is highly rated.
Minnichello is an absolute no no, his back is knackered.

| I agree about them two pal. 3 or 4 years ago paul Mini was the best in his position. Injuries have caught up to him and can't shake them off. Shame really as I would of loved of seen him at Hull used to be my favourite player.
Realistically out of the names I posted. Kearney seems as though he could come to England. Sharks are in a real mess so I would imagine they will be releasing hell of alot of players.
Haven't seen much of him lately though.

I agree about Mini, fabulous player until he was injured. Would not his brother tbh although we don't need backrowers.
I see Glenn Hall has signed for the Bulls, good signing for them.

Hopfully a replacment for Lynch.
Still think he will stay at the Bulls though.
Suprised we are linked to another forward as in Agar recent interview about signings he stated that we where light in the backs, so i would have thought that a Fullback would be the next signing.

Agar said we were looking at outside back and I took that as being a centre or fullback. We could go for both I guess but I think we are in the hunt for a prop.
With these players coming in there will be some chopping to be done to for next season.

I'd keep
Lee, Maloney (one year) and Whiting (two Years).
Unless we find a better prop, then release Thacks. (Unless radford retires, then keep Thacks also).
Release Tony, Thorman, Cusack, G Horne and Moa.
Tony either has to have a fantasic next month or we cant find a replacement for him inm order to stay.

| All of this talk of signing a fullback all depends on Tony really, unless he has for definate said that he's going at the end of the season again recently. Then I really wouldn't be suprised to see 1. Horne 6. Thorman and 7. Long.
Hope to god that doesn't happen as I don't see Horne as anything special as a fb and Thormans just crap where ever he plays.
I hope Tony stays, sign someone like Lynch or better. If we sign Lynch sign a world class centre if possible. Cooper or someone.

Agree 100% about King.
Out of the 10 players OOC at the end of the season i would,
Retain
Thacks,Maloney and Whiting.
Release-
G.Horne
Thorman
Cusack
Still not sure on Motu,Moa,Lee and Hodgson.

Agree with that but I'd also keep Tony and Lee.
Not bothered about Hodgson tbh.
How many utility players roughly should teams needs? 2,3,4?

Tony has alot to prove, he has had a bad time with injurys, he is a good fullback, esp going forward, but would hope for someone better personally. I'd like a fullback like Greenshileds or Hodgson, these players werent superstars in the NRL but have proved to be excellent players in defence and attack.
Surley Thorman cant be kept I would rather promete Lee Williams or Danny Nicklaus to the first team squad. But the artical in the HDM about Thorman today does worry me slightly. Hopefully it's just Agar being nice and tying to get thormans confident back up.

Horne's a temporary solution at full-back and he's done well there, as he would in just about in position you stuck him in.
But come next season alongside a very good scrum half, we will see him shine as stand-off. I rate him alongside Pryce as one of the best 6s this country has got.
I think Long/Horne can is as good as Long/Pryce and Burrow/Maguire

Imo Tony has nothing to prove he has plenty of times proved that he is a quality fb yes he has had a bad injury but so has Raynor. Raynor also lets the ball bounce quite often. Does he need to prove anything?
Greenshields has been class for Catalans and would be a good signing if Tony leaves.
I think alot of people have kind of got it in for Tony and whenever he makes a mistake quickly pounce to criticize him because they still wish to have Briscoe here.

If that's the case then fair enough I'd wish him all the best in the NRL. So sign a world class fb and leave Horne at 6 to create a good partnership with Long.

Raynor is a better player (IMO) is english and is contracted, so the situation is totally different.

Horne for me at 6 really needs to be hell of alot more creative, I'm sick and tierd of seeing a crap drop off to tickle or a pathetic wedge and already knowing who there going to pass to and often taking the wrong option, instead of playing what's infront of them. Something Long does very well.
