To start with, the better team won, but the outcome hinged on 2 reffing decisions.
1/ Whiting's disallowed try when it was 24-18. Judging by the travelling fans reaction and especially Whitings, it was a try.
2/ The sin-binning ( team were already on a warning) led to us scoring 12 points and effectively game over. Until that point, it was a good even hard-fought game. Wire were flattered by the score-line.

The downside for Hull were lack of size/action in the pack, and the number of stupid penalties you gave away.

On the plus-side was the performance of the fb. Not seen him before, was very impressed and imo Hull mom. And the numbers of travelling support which easily beat KR's pathetic turnout earlier in the season....

No, he's been injured, had two operations and has just come back. Unfortunately it coincided with the Nines competition. Wouldn't be surprised if he plays at Salford next Friday.

I agree, I'm still optimistic and believe we will have a better squad (doubt it will be good enough to win things though). However the recent events, poor results on the field, players leaving (some rumoured) and off field issues (again rumours) do take their toll. The club need to turn this around especially the results as no amount of signings will sell passes if the team misses out on the play-offs.

As the other posts said, Russell had a very very good game today. Any news on Moa, looked to have taken a knock?

this hull team is not good enough for top 4, said at the start of season 6th for us which we can still get, think the early season form flattered us a bit,we have thrown away 5 points laterly and to be fair got beat by the better team today,all in all we are where we derserve to be,next year is the year hopefully we can make the next jump up to the next level, still hopefull we can get 6th, i see the usual suspects are on here predicting doom and gloom,just trolls imo, i still trust in pg and ap

The old wheels have come off the vehicle. The vehicle is wheel-less. We can afford a mechanic and new wheels to put wheels back on the vehicle. Hopefully next season the vehicle including its new wheels will be an upgrade. Just saying we're lucky to have his hope. Sounds like we don't need to sell existing wheels and use toy wheels next year. Or take out a mortgage on a very expensive garage. Lucky, lucky us.
