Think you seriously need to do something to improve the South stand TBH!

Expecting people to pay full whack just doesnt wash.

In all honesty I fully agree with you - IMO it should have been £10 for adult Hull fans and £5 for kids for that stand. Would have been fair, and maybe would have seen more tickets sold.

In the short term though I don't know what can be done about it because presumably (without knowing anything about construction) it would take a lot of work to knock down the full-stand and build a new one there.

Again though, I agree it's not a great stand, and the price [ishould[/i reflect that.

. FC is in my blood and I can't change that however much I might want to. I can sit there at the match with my head in my hands close to tears at the prospect of losing another dull encounter but I know I'll be back next week with a the faint flicker of a flame of hope in my heart.

You should get another golf type stand a s a temporaroy fix. Woudl solve a lot of problems

Definitely - the temp stand has it's critics but it does a job and (supposedly) is not a bad view of the pitch. Think a lot of stuff is up in the air though at the moment, inc the East Stand extension, so I don't know what they're prioritising, but without a doubt that would be a better solution.

The South stand has been there for the other derbies at Craven Park and was sold out. In all honesty its because Hull fans dread a hammering, if they were in a play off position the fans would be clamouring for more tickets. The reality is that many not going to C.P. will probably not be renewing their season passes either.

The sad thing is if Rovers fans want to recipricate that support then Hull's Richard Horne's will suffer in his pre season testimonial.

And for fans blaming the South stand could have bought tickets in the Golf stand.

Can't see it to be honest, reckon most people (myself included) will be there, e.g. out of respect.

Hulls form will certainly be a factor in the low turn up but dont forget we still got over 10k versus Celtic! The poor value for money plays a bigger part then you acknowledge IMO and the fact that the game kicks off at 6pm and is on sky makes it a nobrainer for alot of fans I know.

To be fair there will be alot fo Hull fans in the Golf Stand to, its just people won't pay to go and stand on the South Stand. They should give the golf stand to Hull and give the south stand to Rovers and see how many of there own fans would go and stand there.

I don't see why they can't do that for all matches, would improve attendance rates for all away fans, and surely that's better for the club?

We could be top of the league and destroying all teams put before us and I wouldn't try and "watch" the game from that South stand. I really cant believe these Rovers numpties attempting to have a dig because we haven't sold our allocation when they haven't even sold out the North stand. I'm actually pleased that we haven't sold our allocation, maybe this will prompt that greedy money grabbing idiot that "runs" Rovers to actually treat us with a bit more respect, although I doubt it



As Suzie said earlier in this thread, more than 600 will travel to Wigan expecting a hammering because they will actually be able to see the game and it will still be cheaper than that South "stand"

Rovers took over a thousand to the Catalans match, and the stand at the end of the Gilbert Brutus stadium is equally as bad as the south stand at Craven Park.

600 miles to Catalans, 6 miles from West Hull to Craven Park.

And that match was on sky ! ! ! !

So what excuses have the Hull fans got ???

In comparison, Rovers get the entire North stand and some of the west stand upper at the KC, personally I think its f**king disgraceful!

Rovers fans will go anywhere to support their team, that's what it is all about.

To be fair there are lots of loyal FC fans too and they are the ones that are standing up to be counted and not making pathetic excuses why they are not going to the derby.

You clearly are thick. Even your own fans think that stand is a disgrace. Even your own club think its sub-standard, hence they charge every other team in the league £10 to stand there. Yet they think the "FC mugs" will just pay £17. Well not anymore I'm afraid. This is a direct result of people experiencing that stand and realising its pointless trying to "watch" the game from there.

Hull fans will go anywhere to support their team however they appear not to want to feel robbed at craven park and pay 20 quid to stand in the worst facility in Super League!!

Hate to turn this into a slanging match but how many turned up at Craven park for a Challenge cup quarter final the other Saturday evening when the game was also on TV?

Some have - others stay with the club through thick and thin.

As for the "south stand" it's one thing having to stand there at all and not be able to see the game but another thing altogether to be ripped off for the pleasure.
