Not really that keen on the Arundel signing, would rather us play B. Crooks in the first team next year. He's done a terrific job so far this season.

And I'd much rather us sign Foster up for next year than J. Crookes. He's already said in the paper how much he's enjoying life in Hull.

I think there's a couple of signings that will surprise us.
Back row is done now with Tickle staying and Galea signing.
If O'Meley does stay we only need one more prop.
We just need to get the Chase situation resolved. He is by far the most important piece of the jigsaw and if it's Cas wanting more then give it to them I say. The squad as it stands (taking expected announcements into account) will not break into the top 4 without him, worth every penny of up to £350k for me.

I still think we're short in the centres. Yeamo more and more injury prone and is he really top class, Arundel, promising yes but a lot to prove, Turner gone. More than happy with Crooks, he's the future but I think we need a real strike centre if we are to get in that top 4 and win anything next year. There is a real shortgae in this country so that would be a priority quota signing for me. It's the one area neber mentioned though.

I think you might be right. Salford have to make qurterly payments of £50k to the Council for a loan they got and its about 3 months since they sold Matty Smith.

one thing is certain , given what we have already we are going to be a team no one really looks forward to playing next season, if Omeley stays than its a bonus but if he goes he goes....
i think galea was extra to the plan as he came up as available and PG thought , well we will have him and in he came but not one of the initial plan IMO.
Our front row is already class, our back row as good as anyones for next year, we have pace and cover in all areas now

I am not so sure about that tbh, the only vast improvement so far is Ellis & Holdsworth we need a few more good signings to be confirmed is we want to be top 4 next year.
I am undecided about Galea tbh he is a good player no doubt but he will be 35 yrs old and the key will be keeping him fit one thing is for sure though had Agar signed him this board would have gone into meltdown with claims of another ageing Aussie.

Three excellent props signed for next year, along with 3 young props battling in out for the 4th spot.

Looks good to me, very happy with our pack.

Holdsworth and Ellis add real X Factor to the job IMO, and will be clear for all to see having class specialists in place like those, the final piece in the jigsaw is Chase for me although given an off season operation and so on I still think Seymore has tons to offer ......
