Got told last week again that Bateman done. Wire and Hudds were fighting over him and we came in and did a deal. 3 year deal with a wage rise built in each year.

Johnson signed and sealed along with Crookes and Holdsworth. If we've done Chase now and can add Taylor too that would be astounding recruitment.

Do we all think briscoe is staying? I think lyneham is quality,a real star of the future if not a star already, so if we sign Crookes one of them is only a squad a player. How many teams line up with a winger on the bench? I know its nice to have some depth but the signing of Crookes worries me a little bit.

I agree, there's still at least 2 more games for us this season, but Pearsons backed himself into a corner by saying first week of September signings will be announced. Maybe an extension to Aspinwall and O'meley would be the best things to announce this week, then new players once the play offs are over.

Don't get too excited at least 6 will be announced in the next three weeks I am sure of that, but a lot have a clause in their contarcts about not naming their Club of destination until after the last game, unless their current Club give permission!

Heard in the queue this morning that Chase will be announced after the Cas game.

Murrell was a really good player back in 08/09, but Morgan messed him about moving positions, he put some weight on and hasnt been the same since.

I would also say there is no way Murrell wants to sign for Hull, he was crying at full time yesterday when the players were on the pitch.
