I am sure Allam has said in a previous interview that he wasn't interested in buying Hull FC (where is Mrs Barista when you need her?) just hope he doesn't see us as a thorn in his side.

Ok then, lets assume Allam buys the KC. What do people think he is going to do that would be harmful to the club and what do they think he has to gain from it?

as long as hull fc have the 100 year lease and thats honoured, rugby league internationals still been played at the stadium and the rent ect isnt increased then thats ok

I wouldn't be at all surprised to find us merged with Rovers and playing at CP while City have the KC to themselves.

theres not going to be a merger end of, theres no evidence to suggest that a merged hull side would be any better then 1 of the current clubs.

Why would he care how good the merged club was or how many people attended the games? He's not interested in RL and has in any case stated that in his opinion a merger is the way forward.

TBH I'd be done with professional RL and I'd find some local amateur club to follow.

Never going to happen Kosh, theres a slim chance you might find us both playing at Craven Park, but Hull and Rovers simply will not merge, there would be uproar. And besides, Hull are paying customers at the KC, what would be the benefit to him of kicking us out?

well hes already stated that hull would remain at the kc if he gets the kc and if i was hull then as a club as long as the current contract 100 years lease and rent ect was to stay the same with internationals then again thats ok.

I'd miss the atmosphere of a stadium crowd too much.

Bearing in mind that the majority of RL fans will probably live in the city but a sizeable chunk of Hull City supporters would live outside of the city.

His goal is to get City into the premiership, then sell to foreign investors to make a healthy profit...No prem club want ruby in their stadium

As for being paying customers, he's just made it abundantly clear that he thinks we're freeloading. Getting rid of us would make a small dent in his income stream and have the benefit of getting further approval from the City fans and avoiding any dual use issues should City gain Premiership status again.

I don't think the council will sell.

I think they'll put it to a referendum, and it will be worded in such a way (see somewhat tounge in cheek post elsewhere) as to make it a no brainer for most people, especially given the buttering up he's been doing of rovers/city.

Then claim it was the people that decided not the council.

The dobbin lead council will sell...they had a boys day out with Allam at CP on Sunday, job done I reckon.

I have a very bad feeling about all of this.

He has bought Hull City and good luck to him because his money will not last long there and it's allready started by throwing teddy out of the cot, (just like DL), by saying if he cannot buy the KC he will move City out of Hull, (just like DL), this guy is a business man and believe me when he realises it is not working for him his dummy will be out and, (just like DL), he will blame anybody and everybody and want to pull out and where will that leave City, Rovers, and god forbid FC (If he buys KC, which he will).

call me foolish but I have a feeling we have all been here before and like then this business man will only take losses for so long before the plug is pulled and everyone else is left flapping around gasping for air!!!

A couple of ladies at swimming who know I like sport said they had read in HDM about the nice Mr Allam who wanted to build the sports village and how great they thought it would be for Hull...they have no interest in sport.The media will sell the votes for Allam.

I blame the Labour voters who voted these red and white feckers in. Never had this trouble with Minns.
