I thought the essence of coaching was to develop the skills of the players, to motivate them and to implement defensive/attacking structure? If a human could teach another how to make decisions without error than no one would ever make a bad decision which people quite clearly do, all the time.

it is some encouragement, but its 2 points lost by yourselves. we had a lot out, lost deacon (hence no convertions) and won the game with 12 men. Its definately a case of Hull lost it rather than us winning it, and we will have to improve massively to compete with Hudds next week. we had fielden, finch, paaat, roberts, gleeson out lost deacon, joel sent off, we've got away with it today. id be surprised if you dont make the playoffs. but teams will come to wigan and test us because have the chapions tag makes everyone want top beat you that bit more and all the above mentioned injuries are long term. its gonna be a hard year for us and i for one believe warrington will win super league this year. but what a year it is in prospect with so many great teams !!!!

End of the day board made their decision to give agar time, so we should accept that, and get behind the team and coach, even i have learnt it's pointless calling for agars head, like that w4nker did at huddersfield.


After the win against crusaders, I never expected a win at wigan, I would have been happy to just see an improvement, we went one better than that and fell short by 2 points, due to some individual errors, and a touch of class from the CHAMPIONS!

Wigan are a good side, and I bet you now, not many teams will go to wigan this year and get a result or give them a run for their money as we did.

Also i cant decide if i want Long to get his place back Obst and Horse are looking a great partnership, but we cant afford to have Washey being our other 9 he makes silly mistakes is a penalty machine and slows the play down way to much from the ptb intersting times ahead for selection.

Sounded like a great effort by Hull and came down to 2 penalty kicks, Wigan kicked theirs we missed ours. Hey ho Tickle has won us enough games with his kicking to forgive him for that one!
