For me, Houghton hasn't looked too bad this year. His worst game, as with most, was Saints at home - but he played at 7 for most of the game

Question for those in the know, what are Manoa Wacokecoke and Charlie Severs like? Picking Wacokecoke out as he bagged a hat trick last weekend, and Severs was very much involved in first team pre-season activity. Two worth following?

Just think it'd be cost effective with the cap, using Bamlforth if he's looking ready as a replacement hooker, rather than a chunk of cap on an over seas signing.

Especially when we l have to invest heavily In the half back positions.

Can someone confirm the pronunciation of his name? I think it's Wa-thocka-thocka but I got that from a YouTube video so might be wildly wrong.

Does anyone know what's up with Walker?

Only seen Severs in friendlies and highlights, but he looks top class, very strong runner, tall aswell, so once he bulks up will be a real threat.

Don't know much about Wathocka except he is Fijian origin and he brother plays Union for Newcastle Falcons.

Balmforth in the squad for Hudds.

Physically looks a beast, has great pace too.

Would love to see him on the bench instead of johnstone

Again makes sense certainly long term, see what he can do before we look at recruitment.


Despite Johnstone doing a decent kick last week, I'm still think he isn't SL standard and Balmforth couldn't do any worse.

Wouldn't surprise me to see Balmforth play a part against Sheffield next week. Seems to very highly rated.

I'd play have at least 5 young players in the 17, probably the 4 in the squad this week, Litten and Staveley. Could go with something like this

Well it’s only fair that the Rovers lads get prepared for what awaits them in the future.

The Academy Derby is at Easter I think.

Last night's match was that important to you all that you didn't even know which team was playing! Presumably none of you attended to support the future stars of your club.

Some great talent in both Clubs scholarship ranks. Hopefully plenty earn Academy deals when their scholarships end and progress their careers.
