Connors was worse than Farrell's, I'd be more worried if he was sinbinned hopefully that will be sufficient punishment which I think it will be.

I genuinely would prefer Connor to play (far better spectacle when the top players are out there) but it looked a deliberate shot to the head to me - wasn't surprised Hardaker reacted the way he did particularly after the cheeky forearm across the face in the 6th minute.

All I was suggesting was that the ref may have already had a quiet word with Connor (but not Farrell, perhaps).

Love to know how you think it was deliberate, I doubt Connor thought, I'm going to give Hardraker a high shot, give away a penalty, maybe get sinbinned and banned.

We have the same discussions every season, and practically every week now, had tons of conversations about officials, my question now is when do the RL decide some officials just simply are not competant?
There's zero accountability or transparency , and the fact most of inconsistencys go in favour of what you'd class as the big four is frustrating and makes you wonder if there's abit of an agenda/biased from the officials?

As long as these same officials keep officiating and having no accountability , the same inconsistencies will be repeated. Making it very hard to beat teams like Wigan.

Well looks like the disciplinary share your view as a deliberate head shot is a Grade D offence (minimum) - Connor was charged with a Grade B offence (not clear whether they deemed it careless or reckless).

Appeal it, and show them Farrels literally 5 minutes later that got zero punishment

Think with 8/9 unavailable we might need to play the long game and not rush anyone back as chance gone now realistically as you say.

I think we are even if they do play, Wigan are stronger than us and have better depth, they can cope much better than us with a few out.

We do need to improve our discipline though, been a problem for a few years now.
