Well we best make sure we are 20 in front going into the last quarter, against a poor but fresher Wigan team at home

That semi will have been physically draining. Players will not have fully recovered from their efforts. It will also have been mentally draining as emotions were high and it was a close game.
All of those factors will come into play on Thursday. Those 1%ers matter against to teams.
Unless Wigan have a shocker, I just can't see us having enough in the tank to win. I hope I'm wrong.'"
Your are right
Hull will lose heavily to Wigan and Warrington will get beaten at Catalan

Saints play a different style to us
They use the ball more across the backline to create the space rather than just cart the ball up the middle for 5 tackles.
This has two effects
much less work for their forwards
move the opposition around a lot more draining energy
similar style to how Castleford played when they were runaway league winners

Thats why to me it would seem stupid of the coach not to use Hadley,Green and Litten and possibly give one of the fringe props like Brown a run.
I would have Hadley at loose forward for Westerman who is just going through the motions at the moment and a good time to give Danny Houghton a break.
I guess Masi is not match fit but whats happening with Levy and Bienek?

In your opinion, what makes Wigan a poor team? They are on a great run at the moment.

| The scandal of it all, is the uneducated Sky decision makers who choose any team to back up so quickly after such a gruelling intense game like a Challenge cup semi final.
Radders will freshen the team up, but I’m not expecting the points in this one.

| I agree it's a short turnaround and is very unfair on your lads as well as us lot who wanted to travel.
Whether Wigan are a poor team is for you to judge as I being a Wigan fan will just read your and appreciate your opinions.
Lam has suggested most of Wigan's injured will be back. Manfredi, Davies and Joe Bullock are out so this will be the squad I guess will be selected.
Hardaker,
Marshall, Sarginson, Gildart, Burgess, Williams, Leuluai, Flower, Powell, Clubb, Greenwood, Farrell, Smithies. Bench - O'Loughlin, Navarette, Partington & Sammut.
We are short of props so Lockers may be played there and Smithies at 13. This is only guesswork by me but going off what Lam's said I don't think the Wigan squad will be too much different.

It is. Had it been the other way round I have little doubt we would be saying there no excuses for us not doing a job on an opposition that's backed up after a semi final when we'd had a fortnight off and bodies back.

As far as Wigan teams go, I’d say that’s the poorest one I’ve seen in a long time, not sure I’d have any of them in the Hull team, Hardaker maybe, although he’s not set the world alight. What Wigan do have going for them is, that they will defend with intensity, match that and we win comfortably. Makes me laugh this forum, anyone says a bad word about the coach or our performance and you all jump to the defence or make excuses, yet hardly anyone as any confidence in the team to win a game, it’s really quite bizarre. Anyways hull by 16 Thursday night

Not sure we would want Lockers, we have our own senior talisman Ellis.
Flower, we have Taylor Bowden Green, and Paea, plus Massi and young Jack Brown.
Zak, we have Shaul, and Jake Connor, with young Connor Wynne as back up.
Faz, yes please
Gildart, Young Oli has probably got eyes for the NRL
Wigan after a shaky start are coming good as they usually do, at the business end of the season.
Greenwood, don’t think he’s convinced Wigan fans yet.

Possibly give them a bench spot! Gildart no thanks, gets beasted against any top class centre, NRL he's no chance. O'loughlin, gutted he's not starting

| Going to a very tough game, Wigan are on excellent form at the moment and we are backing up after an intense game.
I'll be interested to see the squad, we don't have too much leeway in the squad to rotate players. Hopefully Savelio will be fit.

I didn't say awful, but it is a good question. I think its probably down to been the best coached team in the comp, I do appreciate the intensity Wigan always seem to play with, consistently. But you wont be winning anything this year thankfully

Savelio has a broken bone in his foot
Dont think we will see him until the end of the season.
Talk about Chris Green being injury prone
