I agree, would like a white shirt and a large, wide V, nothing else on it, keep it simple, club have said it is inspired by older designs so lets see.

The shopacheck one with the purple I liked. I always wore it for training as it was a really snug fit and difficult for someone to get a grip on. TBH I was thinking of donating some of my older shirts but wouldn't know where/whom to give them too or if they were worth anything to them in any case. It's part of a clothes clearout before anyone starts whining.

To girly I thought, got bought one for xmas never put it on, always thought it looked good on a lady. I like the 80s one, nice and simple, loose the collar, happy days

Wow. Was that Shopacheck shirt really from 92-93? I remember the furore about introducing purple into the strip vividly.
My philosophy with shirts is that less is definitely more. The simpler the design the better it usually looks.

It was 91-92. It was introduced after the premiership win in 91. The away kit that year was the same but purple irregular hoops.

White star features on new training gear on shop website a clue maybe?

If we are going to get an ISC template, which lets face it is a good bet, given that this years shirt was just leeds' from the other year but black and white, I would say a good bet is a saints shirt. Done some looking and I reckon that 2012 or 2014 saints are the best bet for templates. 2012 is not a million miles away from the 80s shirt above and 2012 would simply fit hull fc given the alternative hoops design of the V. If we were to get a reproduction of the 80s shirt however then that would be amazing, great shirt!

Nicest shirt for a long time, big fan, will be there tomorrow banding over my hard earned pounds. I know it doesn't matter if it looks like another shirt but I am a genius seen as I said 2012 saints shirt a few posts up. Really nice shirt anyway

I hate it. Fed up with ISC and their lazy designs. Logos overlapping the V. Shoddy work. It was the same last year.

Not OCD, it's just bad design.



Obviously the minstergate logo cant be helped. but the hull college and skills network logos can easily be moved very slightly so it fits within the design of the shirt. Would be nice that instead of slapping things on willy nilly, ISC actually put some thought into it. Like I said before it's just lazy.

It wouldn't have taken much to slightly scale down the logos and widen the v to make them fit within it.

Personally I never buy full priced shirts anyway but I'm sure there will be loss that do. It's not a bad design.

A sponsor less shirt- now that would be unique in this day and age! Loved that team shirt though, the match and the great atmosphere.The result,however, was not so good.

Well we did get that kit this year, which I am really pleased with. Shame about the sponsors, but it is a necessity for the club.

Why dont the Club get one tof worlds best designers in,make the shirt from the best material and charge £1000 and make it a right fashion statement... for gods sake it a rugby shirt to support your club and for the Club to make a few bob,got mine more than happy wont be going to weddings or official functions in it so dont really give a monkeys

Went in the shop today, the "V" doesnt line up from the shoulder panel to the front panel. Every shirt was different

You'd have thought for a £50 shirt you wear 20 times they could at least get that right

ISC, do one

I'd pay extra to have a shirt without the sponsors logos tbh, Vs with a large rectangular main sponsor logo never work aesthetically, but you have to accept that the club needs sponsors. I usually buy the training tops as I get more use out of them, last years were a bit naff however. Now if they'd bring out another fleece with zipped pockets as per a couple of years ago, something you can wear all year round.
