I am not talking just RLFans, from what I heard we played well but struggled to close the game out in the second half, possibly down to some questionable refereeing decisions. The next three games are going to show where we really are as a club, squad and team. Hopefully we can string some wins together and start climbing the ladder. As for "previous incarnation"??? We were dire in the first 20 attacking wise, but still very dominant in defence, the only time they got in our half was from a penalty (And scored a good try to be fair)

I though our defence was upto our usually standards, apart from taia, who as I've said before is as good as any backrower in SL.

What impressed me the most was our passing and speed, certainly feel more positive than before, but must back it up next week.

No problem with different opinions, but you are talking rubbish as people have said, nobody is going overexcited about this result and I'm talking about on here, twitter and people after the game I spoke too.

See as you didn't go I'll help you out, we never struggled to close the game out, we were pretty much in control all the game and after we scored our first try the game never looked in doubt.

At times, but I still think he needs a rest, with the injuries we have I expect we will have a 2nd hooker on the bench for the Cas game.

so why was it only an 11 point win? that is whatI mean by closing the game out, Leeds or Saints would have put another 30/40 on them, that is where I want us to be, and with better attacking flair (and by the sounds of it, better refereeing) we could be.

How many points did Saints beat them by this season.

The reason it wasn't more is that we let it two sloppy try's, lost 3 players to injury two of them key players so only had one sub and Zeb Taia is hard to tackle.

It was a comfy win against a team tipped by many to finish in the top 4.

Fair enough, lets see if we can string a few wins together, if Widnes and Wakefield win tomorrow we are back at the bottom (well, according to my workings out we are)

We were OK, better than we have been and when we started to play more off the cuff we looked better. Defence was sloppy at times and I'm glad they didn't hit our right edge more in that 2nd half as lineham was a passenger in defence. We did have a massive amount of posession (60-70% at a guess) and a massive amount of field position so we really should have scored more tries. A couple more tries for us and them not scoring the 2 we gifted them would have been a fairer reflection on the game.

If Widnes win by 2-4 points then both Widnes & KR will go below us, if they win by 5+ then just KR will go below us.
If Wakey win by 11-22 points then both Wakey & Hudds will go below us, if they win by 24+ just Hudds will go below.

That's all if I've worked the points differences right of course. So we could be anywhere between bottom & 8th come Monday.

always tight at the start of the league, difficult to know when to make an initial judgement with the split coming in, used to say around round 8/9 was when the table really started to mean something, not sure this season.

I supported England in Brazil but I wasn't there, I support our troops in Afghanistan, but I am not there either. I don't understand this fixation with having to be at games to care about a club? And the club have hardly been doing much to attract walk ups, with help from the SMC as well.

I've wanted this for years, regardless of personnel. I abhor the split halves system, all it does is make one half of the pitch useless in attack when one of your halves is having a bad game. Just let both of them go and play wherever they think they'll do damage.
