| The quality of work on the Wire shirts looks a lot better than on ours. Yet again I think we have been let down by shoddy workmanship on our shirts. Why the club can not address this I just dont know and I tried to get Lee Jenkinson to answer why they were so bad on the shirt from a couple of seasons ago but got nowhere.
The new shirt has the same problem which ruins it for me and the problem is that ISC or whoever is actually making it can not match the stripe on the sleeve/arm to the one of the chest on our shirt, not only that they can't even get them the same on each side either. Went to the shop to but 2 shirts and after going through all of them I came away without purchasing as they are just not worth paying full pop for as they look like seconds due to poor workmanship.
Very disappointed and was really looking forward to getting these.

Im glad it isnt just me that thinks this way as well. Hate to say that they look good in the pictures but when you get close to them they look like they havent been finished properly. At £47 or even £42 they arent good value. Are they still made in china, and if so why do Hull FC bother as they will never get a good standard if they keep getting them made there?
I will just support the club in other ways, eg off field wear etc, might consider a coat for those cold nights we look forward to in summer rugby!

They also feel like the worst material we've ever used for replica shirts. Very poor quality IMO. Got the lad one but didn;t bother for myself

And theres people complaining your sleeves don't line up. By the look of it they couldn't even manage to colour in between the lines on that monstrocity

I like our shirt this season, as do most seasons, but with 90%+ shirts being horrendous this coming season, it makes ours looks better

| When I saw the design for the new shirt it was exactly what I hoped for with the return of the irregular hoops.I went to purchase 2 adult and a boys, and the quality is bog standard.
This could have been one of the best selling shirts ever, and possibly still will be with the 150th anniversary, but why cant we have decent quality for once, its not as though they are cheap to buy.Very disappointed.

| It's a nylon replica shirt, not a cashmere pashmina. Man up.
Fakers gonna fake fake fake fake fake
Haters gonna hate hate hate hate hate
as the lovely Taylor Swift would put it. The merchandise team will no doubt shake off criticism from those with a 95% hate/fake posting record and I think we'll sell an absolute shedload.
The ladies fit ones are pretty nice BTW.

Mine will be irreparably stained with Guinness and Curry within 2 months so the quality is probably academic!

| Not got mine yet but I'm fairly confident I'll be getting one for Christmas.
If the comments about the quality are true then its disappointing.
Its all very well saying that they are only nylon shirts for wearing to the match but they cost £47.
I would only pay £25-£30 for a shirt for going out in and pay less than than £20 for work shirts, but I still expect them to be reasonably well made, and they are.

| Does it really matter if the sleeve hoops don't exacty match the chest? You hardly walk round with your arms pinned to your sides.
Some people will moan at anything.

Nothing wrong with moaning about the quality of our shirts. I have been for years, they're very poor. Although haven't seen the new ones up close.

Indeed. People go into meltdown about not accepting second class rugby on the pitch. Yet it's ok to accept garbage quality on shirts.
At £47 it's steep for a shirt and you'd expect better. Some on here would soon be moaning should their £50 stone island (or some other chavvy brand) top was sub standard

My thoughts exactly.
Its a great design and it will be a shame if its let down by the quality.

| Asi I said before I will support the club in other ways with other merchandise. Just today I thought to myself "they cant be that bad" with a fresh set of eyes. But to be honest on half the shirts the badges were not straight and the other half the sponsors badges etc were not either. No matter though, looking forward to the new season. Really looking forward to seeing us with some decent half backs next year, fingers crossed.
