You have to put yourselves in Dobson's shoes. He has a great affinity with the Rovers supporters, why would he sign for FC and ruin 90% of that when he could sign for Wire/Saints and still be lauded. Doubt we'd be able to offer enough on top of what Wire/Saints could for him to give that up for monetary purposes.

There have been a couple of credible sources on twitter saying we are in talks to bring him home. Whether it actually happens or not who knows

No chance dobson will come to us. He knows the score between us and rovers and will have better options elsewhere. i was told today he's joining wigan for the rest of this season before moving to another club next year

I don't think he will sign for hull,but I doubt it has anything to do with having played for rovers.these aussies are mercenaries.its cash their after.if hull did offer him an offer he couldn't refuse.i don't think he would worry what a few dobbins fans thought.

I agree he would come to us if the offer was right, but he would be looking for a substantial increase over any other offer before accepting an Fc contract. I don't reckon he would deliberately antagonise the r+w's just for the sake of a small financial gain, he would want a significant differance before putting pen to paper.

Even if we put the rovers issue to one side, who would you sign for (assuming all monetory offers were roughly in the same ballpark); Saints, Wigan, Wire or FC? Unfortunately for us, we're very much also rans in a field of that nature.

Urban myth. he had to come before the end of the season or would't have got another visa and the only club who could offer him a spot was rovers. wigan and Hull both wanted him for the following season but couldn;t accomodate him mid season due to quota and cap restrictions

Where have you got Pritchard from? No talk of him going anywhere from the bulldogs sites? Plus, he's still signed up, a big part of our leadership and on a relatively big contract (550k aud or 300k gbp putting him in the top 2 or 3 players in superleague...)

Well Sa is already done, as is Taylor. Dobson is unlikely but possible, however I don't see how we can offer Pritchard an attractive enough package. I guess if Ellis, Pitts and Kent left that might cover his wages at a push, but I'd be amazed really.

Taylor on a 4 year deal is the rumour . Isn't Pritchard out with a bicep injury for upto 4 months ? Can't see Dobson coming but to be fair I'd put money into a whip round to get him here

I don't know the length of deal with Taylor, but I've been reliably informed that it is happening. I think he needs his head testing tbh, but I guess he wants to play for his boyhood club.

I just dont see the Taylor one, he is still young enough to have a few more years at Wigan, then come to us in say 3 years time.

I doubt to happen, but if radford was to sign those 3 I think it would give him more time, certainly be our best recruitment while I have been a Hull fan.

TBH I be happy with just Dobson.
