I did wonder why someone who earns £400 a day is complaining about spending £85 in fuel.

I would figure that he stated £170 for his travel and £230/day for his wage to lose, still, driving a tank like that all this way on 60k /year seems crazy to me. I grumble that my Passat estate only get 45mpg & over the bridge it's 155 each way/185 if I don't.
