I wouldn't drop Miller he has had 3 decent games and one poor one (Pack didn't help him and Rovers got their tactics spot on) , if we don't give them time then we will never know if he is going to be good enough and again we will have to look for another halfback (which is near impossible), we have to think long term.

If we're sticking with the young halves I would go with that but replace Bowden with feka. Bowden has a crucial mistake and/or penalty in him most games and would benefit from a rest IMO.

Forgot about Feka, think you are been harsh on Bowden though, thought he played well and was better than Carvell and Paea.

But maybe a rest wouldn't hurt Bowden, as the other two haven't played much the last few weeks.

We absolutely have to win the next 4 if we are going to figure at all this year. I'm sick of us just lurching from one embarrassing performance to another before finishing 6th to 8th and going out of the playoffs with a whimper. The league is wide open this year, Saints and Leeds are the only stand out teams. If we had anything about us we would already have our names pencilled in for a top 4 spot. Warrington away, bang average team, wasted two points, Cas away, leading with 5 to go, wasted two points, Widnes, wasted two points, last night the same. Not to mention the cup exit.

People wanted under-performing players dropped. This is what it looks like when you combine that with an under-performing [isquad[/i and injuries.

Very fair comment. Also if people want to give inexperienced players and combinations 'time' (which there is an argument for doing) then that means there will be occasions when it doesn't work and those players get found out. What you can't really do is call for the young players to play then blame the coach when he plays them and we lose. I'm thinking of the two young halves and crooks in particular.

Feka should of played imo. As soon as i saw the team sheet I thought they looked bigger and would beat us in the forwards which they did. Feka and Azza should play every week as should Horne. Miller will never be good enough and should be back up till we can offload him

sorry Adam but we are mediocre and have been for seasons. Love what you have tried to do but scale of task might have been more than you calculated after years of under investment off field.

money invested in youth structure in last 2 years of Adams ownership will pay off but might need a few more years to bring good crop of local lads through who are good enough - and the quality halfbacks we have needed for years. come on tyson wilson......

our pack/squad of forwards this year is stronger than for years- did not play to full potential last night. with pack well on top we can win a lot of games. halfs have more time to create good stuff. coached by a good forwards coach but maybe he needs help with halfs ?

our halfs are good young aussies but at 20 and 22 have not the experience to lead a SL team to top 4 . We need a halfback of the quality of Michael dobson / Walsh to move to top 4 club.

out of our current backs line up only shaul and talanoa would be considered for other teams top 4 squad. missing the developing crooks and Lineham is big loss as is back to world class briscoe (playing in a top 4 team) . Yeaman loves the club but is struggling to be SL standard at moment.

unless we sign Dobson /similar for next season we are in for a couple of average years - top 8 only

and we need a 80% success conversion taker to develop quickly - crooks was looking the best option - lee will be assisting as kicking coach !

lot of frustration coming out from Switzerland .... not like I can pop to pub here and discuss it. deffo only hull fan around here . i rely on the forum to keep up with happenings.

i made 4 games this year but last one was Widnes so left UK pretty disillusioned

when I stand back from the irrational emotion and passion , the best thing is that the club is now in the hands of an Owner who wants us to progress to top 4 so i can live with another few years of improving local talent taking back to top 4.

and to be honest i don't want any more disappointing expensive trips over to wembley just hoping we perform.

Ellis , Paea and Carvel looked great against Huddersfield but didn't reproduce that performance last night OR , and we'll see over the next couple of rounds , Huddersfield were poorer than we thought last week and KR stronger.
These 3's dominance over Huddersfield made everyone else's job so much easier so much so that it's difficult to judge the rest of the teams performances this week.

I'm very optimistic about the future of this team in 2 or 3 years time. We have the bones of a very good squad, throw in some more young talent and it's very exciting.

If we keep the right players, add some quality, and blend some youth in then I think 2016 could see us with a great squad. I feel we are putting all our eggs in the Harry Tyson Wilson basket though. Let's hope he's not another Tommy Lee.

I think most of SL is inconsistent. The teams who can produce week after week are the ones who win things. It's probably a mix of ability, physicality and mentality but we're just not as good as the top sides.

Exactly this. Consistency brings success in just about any sport, and we haven't had any at FC for a dog's age.

Agreed. Mentality is key and I think that it's as much between the ears where we're below average and for some reason have been for years.

For me we have a really strong forward pack who should dominate most other teams week in week out especially when green returns as I would have him starting with pea then use Carvell and feka,Bowden or watts off the bench our back row is again really strong with Ellis Tuson Thomson Hadley and whiting with the obvious of Ellis and Tuson starting I'd have Ellis and Thomson and let Tuson earn his place with whiting sub you need aza on the bench to come on and replace danny and to speed the game up for us we missed that on Thursday night. I'd still give miller and Rankin afew more weeks cause at times they have both looked really dangerous
when our forwards are on top. Our back line at the moment is poor with the exception of shaul
and talonoa but with sa coming in and lineham not a million miles away from been back we could have a very good back line in the making with lineham crooks sa talonoa and shaul but that would mean leaving Radford's best mate Yeaman out and yes he has served us well over the years and is a good defender but he offers very little go forward.
