| Silly thread and inviting trolls
Their attendances are much better than ours. We couldn't even sell out a semi final last year and how many would we get for a QF home tie.
Excellent result for them well done.

I'm pretty sure we wouldn't get as many as City got today but surely it would all depend on the quality of the opposition. Reckon we'd get a lot more if we were playing a top team rather then a championship/lower end of SL team.

| The semi final is on the weekend of the 12/13 April, we play the Giants on Thursday before so I'm assuming its on sky, it will affect the attendance for that one as there are a fair few who watch both sports who will save there money for a trip to Wembley.

I was thinking that this is what happened then for some reason , doesn't the spot in Europe go to the next place down in the league table . Pretty sure that's what they changed it to .

I think that's only the case if it was a nal v man city final and they both finished in the top 4.

| Pleased for the Tigers fans who have supported them since Boothferry Park days.
The FA Cup Final has long since past its peak but it's still watched worldwide and should they beat Sheff Utd it would be tremendous exposure for the club and the city.
But a pitch invasion including stewards helping with photos? FFS.

Because Tickle was refused permission by the good 'doctor' to merely practice his goal kicking, Allam claiming unnecessary wear and tear on the pitch. Of course, when he was sitting in state after gaining promotion he encouraged the masses to pay homage to him by invading the pitch to surround him with adulation. Then again, today. It appears wear and tear is acceptable when it suits.

Doesn't bother me, tbh, and I'm happy for the true fans. I hate his double standards and pettiness towards us, though.

| Well done to City, people might not like them but some of the hatred and comments are uncalled for
Even reaching the semi is great achievement, final would be massive for them

| We can dislike Allam all we want, this is a great achievement for the club and is about the team and it's fans. It's great for the City as a whole. I hope they win the thing, they're 1 from 1 at Wembley aren't they?

I do agree mate. After all the hardship some people in Hull have had to put up with its good for them to have something to shout about.

No but then again Sunderland average around 40k for home games so you'd expect more applications from them.

| Considering that, apart from the odd derby game, we've never attracted a 20,000 plus crowd to the Kc. For some on here to sneer at yesterday's attendance is, at best, a little disingenuious and at worst simply ignoring a fundamental truth.
We couldn't even attract 5000 for a play-off game last year, so I don't think we are in a position to be too high and mighty about this.
As for City, good luck to them. I'm getting a sneaking suspicion this is going to be their year (and I never believed I would be saying that in my lifetime). A team from another sport has reached a Cup semi-final, which ultimately has no direct influence on whether we have a good season or bad.
The reaction from some people on here has ranged from the merely churlish to spitting bile and blood. don't understand it personally. Why not congratulate them on their good fortune, City playing in an FA Cup Final doesn't alter our season one iota.
Love, Peace and understanding people.
