I don't expect Carvell to play.

I'd like to see Tuson given a week at Doncaster to get some match fitness.

Maybe same team as last week, maybe even bring Watts on for Pitts and Thompson can go back on bench to play 2nd row.

Id have no probs with that. Maybe start with whiting and Tuson on the Bench though.

Don't wanna be overly critical of some people and it's all about opinions but to be talking of dropping rankin (a young kid that only got here a matter of weeks before season started and only 3 games in) is some truly dumb shizzle!
Think his coming off is more to do with trying to find a way to accommodate both Aaron and Danny without sitting one down for too long!
Think if pack continues its form and we can keep making improvements discipline and error wise and therefore have the ball more I'm sure with the platform he'll go well.

The only reason I suggested that it was time to give Miller a go was that Radford has subbed Rankin in the last two games which seems unusual. If he's not happy with Rankin then is it time for Miller to have a chance again?

all this talk about which player is to be in the team etc is all very interesting,but what I am looking to see against Bradford,after( two decent performances against top sides),is a different attitude from last year to a game we are,what with all bradfords troubles,we are expected to win. I think this game will tell us if radders is making a real difference!

Good point. For the most part I don't think you could question the players attitudes in recent seasons against the likes of Saints and Warrington and the same can be said this year. But it's these games against the likes of Bradford and Wakey were (on paper at least) we are expected to win that we often come up short in attitude.

We will never get a good half back pairing if we keep dropping players after 2 indifferent performances, away from home.

Rankin did some impressive things against Catalans at KC and deserves longer to settle in the team.

If Carvell and Watts are both fit enough I'd like to see them in. Reason for this is Bradford pack is fairly weak. If they could be dominated for the entire game I think we could see a fairly high scoring win.

I want to see what Tuson can bring to the team. Even if it means dropping someone who played well at Warrington.

I'd rather have consistency and give the team chance to gel. Pointless dropping a player who played "well" for a debutant!

Not saying that you're wrong but I'd say there's an argument for trying out different players in these early games before settling on a regular 17 and letting them gel.

Thompson and Pitts out Carvell and Tuson in. Id also put Rankin on the bench and play Horne and Heremaia in the halfs like he should of done from the start of the season. Rankin was a pointless signing as was Miller

Possibly, but it makes a mockery of "form over availability". I want to see Tuson play as much as anyone, but he's not match-fit.

It's been proven over the last two years that Heremaia in the halves for a prolonged period of time doesn't work. His strength is his impact. He should just share 9 with Houghton, I'm not sure we lose enough when Houghton goes off to justify the silly act of bringing off a half back to accommodate him. Would make far more sense to spell Westerman for the 10-15 minutes and play one at 13. Can't see how bringing a half back off at any point is a good thing.

No we should of gone for Gale and had two of Gale, Horne and Heremaia in the halfs. Rankin is no better than Gale and will be costing a lot more as will Miller.

So you know how much he's on and that after 3games (2away from home against top opposition, and after only been in the country less than 3months) he's no good!?

It amazes me how quickly people forget what Rankin did against Catalan. The sidestep and pace he showed to score a fantastic try. The bullet pass he fired out to Yeaman for a try and the pinpoint bomb he put in for another.

I'm not giving you the pinpoint kick, the Catalan player dropped it, un opposed and it fell into Lineham's hands.

I'm all for giving him a chance, but he's not been that good the last two games. Can't accept the 'two of the best teams away' argument either, Paea, Westerman, Bowden etc seemed to be able to perform, why should we accept less from anyone else?

At that rate we will have no players.
He showed he has the skills. Job for the coaches now is to find out why he was unable to display these skills in two tough away games.
