Tbf to Tuson Wigan as a team don't offload much, they've made they least amount of offloads of all the teams in the league. Also in less games Danny has managed to give away more penalties, make more errors & miss more tackles.

But Tuson scored, or was involved, in 3 times as many tries, made twice as many clean breaks and averages more metres per carry.

Stats are just stats, and it depends on how players are used.

Don't get the problem with Arundel, personally. I'm glad we've got him signed up, think he looked good when he had a run of games & will get better. He'd start next season with Crooks for me.

Good signing, we weren't the only club in for him either.

Tough, hits hard, high workrate and very competitive. Underated as an attacker as well as he has often popped up for an important try this year - has good footwork.

tickle had become stale, injury prone and a penalty machine, would've preffered one of our youngsters to have been given a chance, but will give him a chance, as long as he doesn't do tickles' drop off!

Maybe. Or maybe some of the younger players aren't considered as going to make it. Either way I'd like to see us rebalance the pack a little. We haven't really replaced Lynch.

I speculated on the signings thread that it could make more sense if Ellis moves up to prop as a replacement for Lynch.

Would be happy with Biggs signing, and then someone like Larne Patrick from the Giants. But that's just wishful thinking. Wish the rest of our players would run with such aggression and determination as he does. Barring the odd few, the rest of our players just plod the ball in.
Also I'd definitely start with Crooks and Arundel as centres next season, Yeaman had an awful season and hasn't been upto much for a couple of years now.

Stats show to me that neither player are that good in attack, just read the Wigan thread about him and confirmed what I though, good hard working defensive forward.

Under different circumstances he would be a good signing, but we already have 4 simalar backrow forwards.

I can't see Ellis moving to prop, 13 maybe.
