I remember a Wigan v Leeds final in the early 90s and one end was simply chanting Wigan, Wigan, Wigan, with the other end responding with Yorkshire, Yorkshire, Yorkshire.

At one lull in the chants you could hear a plaintive voice crying "Batley"

I think he's eaten something that's repeating on him...

I don't expect the neutrals to know the words to Old Faithful but they could always back us with:

"I'd rather be a codhead than a pie"

I've just posted this on our "Wigan" board.

My first final was back in 1959 v Hull. No segregation then and we were next to a Hull family with a young boy who was probably about my age at time (10) and he was in tears. That's probably one of my strongest memories of that game.

So if we can't win it tomorrow I hope that "man" is there to witness your first victory at Wembley.
