Well we are a little tetchy aren't we, I will put it down to the shock of you winning a relatively important match, which is a rare event. It's entirely understandable that you are making the most of it.

Some (Garry Scohfield) didn't think we'd beat Wakey. We have yet to be given any chance apart from against the Crusaders. Its just the way we like it.
I saw a tweet yesterday saying Wigan would win easy as neither Wire or Hull want to win it. Pathetic statement for a start, but one I saw time and again after our win in France and Wires demolition of Huddersfield.

Bottom line is that its all on the day. I have seen enough of Hull on this cup run to suggest that the squad are as determined to win as any squad we have seen in the past, if not more so. Immortality awaits all 17 if they win at Wembley, regardless of how big a "star" they are. Look at Tommy Saxton who would have thought he'd be a FC hero? He got his chance in 05. It was the peak of his career but boy what a peak.

I think we can. In 2008 we had no half backs (Dykes and Horne) and Todd Byrne at Full back. Not a great spine to a team for a final. Plus we played a great Saints team and had to contend with S Ganson and despite all that we were not far away in the game. Our squad is superior in every way to that team so I see no reason why we can't win. Would rather be playing Wigan this year than last. They have no Finch, Hock, Thomas Leuluai, Ryan Hoffman. If we can keep Tomkins quiet then have a great shout.

First of all, can I congratulate you on a very good win and performance against wire yesterday. I was not on my own in thinking you never had a cat in hells chance of winning it but on the day you thoroughly deserved your win and a shot in the final.

Can you win it? Well you’re in with a shout if you can play like you did yesterday and keep Holdsworth fit, his kicking game was what kept the pressure on wire and forced them into trying that bit too hard and coughing up the ball. Hull definitely seemed to want it more, wire’s body language at half time said it all, they looked beat then.
Wigan will no doubt be favourites but that seems to suit Hull, the neutrals will no doubt be behind Hull as well, all in all can see it being tight and a game Wigan won’t really fancy.
