I would assume it is only a matter of time before they move to a system of one steward monitoring several turnstyles, as at Headingley...as otherwise it's pointless paying for this system to be installed.

Anybody know when the 1st payment should come out for DD? Sent my forms in about a week ago now expecting the money to come out today, even rang up to check. But none has come out just yet, think I might have to ring up tomorrow & find out whats happening.

I took my form in today and paid my deposit by debit card (was not charged anything extra). I was told that DD payments would start to be taken at the end of each month.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was more pass applications than they could handle in one day.

My error you can't apply online, club need to sort that out for 2014 season.

400 is loads for 1 one day, I'd bet we only sold that many in the whole month last year as there was no 'rush' to buy them before the end of October 'lose your seat' deadline.

At that rate we'll have the 10k sold by the grand final

Which perhaps explains why the club may be thinking of not making all the signing announcements at once.

Reckon the announcements will come after we sell 2000+ passes as need to get more sold after the initial burst ?

Not suggesting 400 isn't good for 1 day, but we've never had a 10k challange before and a lot will want to be in the 1st 1,000 sales to have a shot at all the prizes.

As mentioned previously a lot of postal / DD applications having to be processed so priority today was probably given to people turning up in person, think we will pass 1,000 milestone by tomorrow / Wed. Likely to be a number turning up early on Sat for the heritage weekend so will get their passes then (me included).

Got my pass yesterday and by coincidence was at Chiquitos last night with a group of friends.

Didn't intend on using the card but I showed it and asked the server about how the ClubHull discount worked. She looked at me as though I was daft and said she had no idea what it was. And she made no attempt to find out.

Then you should have refused to pay until she did her job.

I had a similar experience with a group discount voucher in there. Something we got online. Proper "computer says nooo" service.

Finally tally for day 1 was actually 670 passes sold. That's some going that!
