I'd be happy to see him offered a new contract. Been an inspired signing, gives it plenty of biff well worth another year.

If Seymour and Horne are still here next season I don't see the sense in keeping him from a cap perspective but if either of them leave he fully deserves another year with us.

I can't believe i'm saying this after watching him being a big useless pudding at Castleford and reading in disbelief about us signing but yes - definitely worth another year as a squad player.

salary cap restrictions might mean we say no, given the amount of players coming in. one or two tough and possibly unpopular decisions might have to be made - or more likely already have been made

personally i would keep him - his whole hearted efforts and dedication epitomise what we want in the black and white shirt

I disagree with you I think he's exactly the type of the player we should keep.

He's versatile offers cover in positions we will need covering next year.great work rate and in fairness has proved most people on here wrong.

On a £4m salary cap, then you're right. As it is, he's a very good backup player and has certainly proved his worth since signing.

Even the "big boys" have players that will never trouble international selectors, but they're still the ones who put their hands up to play with pain-killing injections.

As someone who was hugely disappointed by his signing I'd just like to say that he's exceeded my expectations by several orders of magnitude and we'll miss him.

Certainly not on many peoples wish list of players before signing for us but has surely done enough for the team to be at least given a bit more respect than the above and in many fans views including mine would be a worthwhile addition to our 2013 squad.

Given the comments AP has made and some of the names being banded about now, people will have evry right to question some of the signings, players like McDonnell/Holdsworth aren't exactly top drawer players, the one thing we will be able to say next season is it is totally Gentle's team, and the value of the whole may be greater than the sum of it's parts, we can but hope.

Not every player in every team is top draw though, Arundel isn't a top draw player, but PG sees something in him to warrant a long contract and over the years could become a top draw centre, Gareth Ellis is going to be the biggest transfer in Super League and dare say Rangi Chase will be second

PG has already proved with Aspi and Goldie etc that he knows what he is doing and sees clearly the shape and depth of a team before we do and is clearly a VERY shrewd operator, I am sure there will be a few WTFs going around when some are announced but so far this dude has done ok in my book and we should then go with his rhythm and plan for the future and see how it all pans out next year , I am also sure that PG knows the gaffer doesnt suffer fools so will have thought long and hard with Bomber over who we want and i feel sure we will be a team to recon with next year !!

Would definatley have him as a squad player next season. Done a good job for us and shows a lot of passion. Same goes for Aspy. Shows what players who aren't so called big names can do.

Have to say my opinion on him changed when I read he'd been seen getting noshed off by some blonde in a public place. he can stay forever for me

Don`t need a lesson,didn`t like McGoldrick before he signed for us,stated so.I admit he has done a job for us,but can`t help forming opinions of players.
