That's the rumour.

That was a deliberate kick but he was just a few cms out. When he pulls those kicks off they are like having a 40/20 awarded, they are just impossible to catch. He can kick some brilliant kick offs. Ours have been chronic since he was dropped.

He was playing like that every week until the loss to Catalans at home. He started THAT match off very well, scoring a try from a cross field kick. But after that match he became wobbly. But the whole team did.

He had a lot of very good matches for us last season and on a number of occasions won games with his kicking.

And it is Meli who is taking Foster's spot, not Makinson. Makinson fills in when Gardner is injured.

I hope AP makes a bid for him. From what i saw tonight he has the talent to be a brilliant player and a great goal kicker too .

His tackle to force the dropout was outstanding. Swung the game back to us when it was starting to look lost IMO.

Said the same thing at the game was 1 of those little extra efforts that give a massive reward.

If we are to lose Tickle he would be a good option. Good enough as a winger for our requirements with the added bonus of being an excellent goal kicker and his kick-offs are also very good.

Jamie always seemed like a good lad.
His goal kicking speaks for itself. When he first started playing regulary, he complimented this by being very safe with anykicks, high or low. He also added a lot of energy to any sort of scrambling defence, often being in the right place to intercept offloads and grubbers or make a last ditch tackle.
He'll finish the tries that he should if given the oppotunity.

What he lacks is any sort of physical size, which makes him a little ineffective when trying to scoot out of your own half. When Saints' season was going wrong we had him and Makinson (another small winger) and we were struggling to get away from our try line at times.

In our run of bad results, Jamie had a hard time and made a run of dreadful mistakes and when the coaching staff changed they moved Meli out from the centre to the wing which successfully gave us more go forward.

If Foster can regain the mistake free part of his game, then he'll be a good, not great, player for you. The important thing is that is he does lose form, you don't let him hold you to ransom with his goal kicking.

Would have liked to see a few more pats on the back for him from his team mates for that it was an outstanding individual play. I think we were a bit knackered and it was easier just to walk to our drop out positions though

It's because of this kind of comment that I hope he really goes well at Hull. Some Saints fans have had a downer on him for a while, and all because he has a hairstyle and likes to drive a fast car.

It's common knowledge if you ask the Saints fans over on their board that the only reason you are Foster's apologist all the time is because you fancy him.

I am not of that standpoint. A fact that I testified to ealier on the thread from the saints board

well we are to lose tickle unfortunately, he is already getting his kids in school in wigan as he is moving with his partner and kids. Unsure were he will end up, maybe used as a bargaining tool or to raise funds. Foster ideal replacement kicker but doubt he will be here next season but stranger things have happend

Tickle already lives over there. According to all the stories, part of the problem he has is the commute over.

Thought he had a good game and the tackle was brilliant a rallying call if ever there was one I wonder if he is here early and signed for next year I would really like to see him playing for us week in week out next season

I'd much rather sign Foster than Crookes in all honesty, but I doubt that's the case. Also I can't see us signing two wingers, so it will be one or the other.
