To be fair, watching the TV tonight, it looked like Horne who was beaten by Faiumu, and in fairness to Horne it was a fantastic sidestep. Watching it, it looks for all the world like he will step in the opposite direction to what he actually did, which is clearly what Horne thought too.

Played very well considering his current level of match fitness. With regards to his try, Kevin Brown should be getting an absolute mauling in the video analysis session for his part in it.

He was excellent and his second spell really changed the game for us. It's such a shame that we have lost Houghton as he comes back but it bodes well for next season.

Would not put him in the halves personally, he's a hooker.

I am sure you watch a different game at times, Seymour, Heremia and Houghton with Horne at f/b would be great for the rest of this season.

You mean where a player plays in his best position, yes I must do. He's a hooker, he can "fill in" in the halves but we have been crying out for rotation of our hookers all season and once Houghton is fit that is exactly what we should be doing.

Horne at fullback and Whiting/Westerman at 6.

can't gree, neither have what it takes, we know we need a new half next season, Heremia is better as an option than either of those.

no, he was good, he wasn't "outstanding" nobody was, two poor sides.

I agree he probably was only good but he outstanding compared to the rest of the performances barring one or two. He does a good job at 6 and imo it is crazy to lose the option of 2 hookers (once Houghton is back) when we have the option to use Whiting. Two good hookers can be just as lethal in any game as a 6 as Saints proved with Cunningham/Roby, and I for one want to use this season to get our hookers rotating effectively.

I want to finish 4/5th, and we need halves to achieve that, i'd rather spell Whiting at hooker with Houghton.

i see what ya mean id like to see him in halfs with seymour think its our best option with houghton fit but i can see what other people are saying with the rotation because thats why houghtons picked up an injury to much game time
but id certainly give it ago think it would be a good partnership until end of season

Just because Heremaia can play h/back it does not mean he will be as effective at the role as he is at hooker! He became an International once he went to hooker not h/back, we had this with Berrigan he was a class hooker but only an average h/back as we saw.

How many times you seen Heremaia play 6?

He played in the halfs for Leigh in the NL and was ordinary.

Yep, then went to NRL and made his name and got rep honours as a hooker. Now we want to play him at 6, brilliant!

He was quite often 2 steps in front of everybody else at Leigh , he won MOM on a regular basis and most of the other teams targeted him from the start of every match , Him and Webster were the best 2 H/B s in NL 1 in 2006 by miles

Having said that it was always thought his best position was 9

TBF Jamie Ellis was arguably one of the best h/backs in NL1 however he has so far failed to make a big impression at h/back in SL

Great example with Berrigan at half, he was average there but when he played hooker he was one step ahead of everyone else in the side, and now we sign another international hooker and do the same thing!

He has to stay at hooker, its a no-brainer.

As for Whiting, he was good on Sunday, but good in a versatile sort of way, not good as a halfback. He didnt do anything differently to what he would have done if he had been playing at 13, 11, 12 or 1. He made his tackles, he swept up, he showed some good touches.....he did what he always does. He's a good squad player, no more.
