I was really hoping that we would put in a good performance on Sunday and get back on track but after hearing the news that we've only got 12 fit players I'm just hoping we can pull through and get the win we badly need. Wakey will be confident after a couple of straight wins and will certainly be motivated so this is going to be a very tough game for us. Lets get down there in numbers and drown out the Wakey support.

Miraculously you will have a 17 available from 1st team players by Sunday. Surely if players aren't fit enough to train 3 days prior to a match then they won't play. So either 5 academy players will be in the team Sunday or it's the oldest line in the book used.

I'm just hoping for a good game and the effort that was on display last week.

Any reason why there is about a third of the roof missing?

if you are referring to why the roof doesn't cover the full depth of the terrace, i believe it's because otherwise the floodlights wouldn't be able to pivot/tilt down to replace the bulbs.

It's because the left hand side of the terrace (as you look at it from then pitch) isn't as high as the right hand side, so there couldn't be one continuous roof of the same height. To make one continuous roof at the lower height would have meant those at the back having to duck.

Looking forward to Sunday, we nearly always seem to have a close game against FC. Let's hope the Ganson Show doesn't spoil it for both sets of fans. Safe journey if you're coming

At least Wakefield players manage to do some training this week. Should take a leaf out of our book & maybe this kit will prevent most of yours getting injured!

Whilst I agree that we need to play to the best of our ability lets bear in mind that their recent wins have been against 2 of the bottom three, so hardly giant killing.

Drove passed there today, it looked like the middle third of the structure didn't have any cover.

The different heights at the back are more evident when your'e in it, or looking at it from within the ground. You'll see on Sunday when we all attend The Ganson Show.

Picked my ticket up from Belle Vue the other day as I didn't have time to get one from ours last week. The door to the side stand was open so I walked down to have a peek.
The roof on the stand behind the sticks at the Doncaster road end doesn't look bad at all to be fair.
The one down the side near the celebrity square's house looks a bit naff though.....

I think we will have a big win tomorrow expecting a 30+ points victory, I just think that our defence will shut off there attack and our's will click for once.

We dominated Saints last week but couldnt score, just think we will do better this week.

Credit to their new board for doing something to the ground though, after years of empty promises.

It wouldn't surprise me if Agar was trying to sign Dan Marino to play Stand Off for this game on Sunday....

you are joking, his "legacy" will be felt by FC for the next 2/3 years at least, not to mention the damage he's done by not giving young players a chance, who knows what might have been with some of the players who were never nurtured and developed properly?

I did read his post, he said his legacy would last 2-3 years as well as holding the youngsters back.As for the youngsters, maybe they weren't ready? Either way time you moved on and looked to the future.

We gave Agar 4 years at the helm, with a team that finished 4th the previous year and 2nd the year before that. His only achievement in that time was winning a semi final against, er, Wakefield.

believe what you like, look at the table, 10 points from 15 games for you, double that for us, Gentle is 10 times the coach Agar is, and that's with a side he has largely inherited from the idiot you now have in charge. And if the youngsters "weren't ready" who's fault is that?

it must be great to follow a club who's recruitment of coaches in recent seasons has been "we'll just take whoever Hull FC sack"

I follow a good club with a great history! Wind your neck in fella and get that Agar chip off your shoulders. I have a lot of time for Hull fc and its excellent supporters.Hope you come over in numbers tomorrow and enjoy the game but not the result.
