Close between him and Sterling, as Sterling played in a poor side and look excellent.
For me I'd go for Sterling just, if we have signed Sterling a few years earlier he would have been on a legend at Hull.
How old was he when we signed him?

Remember that too. I think he stepped out before he got he ball and hadn't got both feet back in the field of play when he caught it, so it was deemed to be in touch. Was a great try and was gutted when they disallowed it |

About 27 I think, He didn't start playing Rugby till late . One of his best tries he scored for Hull was away at Fev . Stepped around 5 players to go 80 metres to score . Vaikona scored a great try in that game also iirc in a great comeback for Hull. |

Was watching a couple of the games from that period a while ago and if I remember rightly, we where ripping it up, 3rd or 4th in the league, with a massive positive points difference.
And then we got decimated by injuries.
Don't think we have ever seen rugby like that at the KC since, on a consistant basis. |

We had 36 points after 23 rounds and had lost only once in thirteen in 2004 but then lost three in a row. We sneaked home in the last two regular season games but by the time the playoff against Wakefield came we were (IIRC) without Jason Smith, Horne and Cooke.
We should have made the Grand Final that year. |

Haha... maybe.. Don`t arrive til the Sunday, so it will be a bit tight.. I chose that game purely cos we will have time, and only there for a week, so wanted to fit at least 1 NRL game whilst there really. |
